Amrita Arora and Shakeel Ladhak plan to tie the knot this March over an extravagant  three-day affair!

March 4: They’ll exchange wedding rings and vows at a church in Bandra, Mumbai followed by brunch at Olive. Amu’s best friends Kareena Kapoor and her make-up artist Mallika Bhatt will be the bridesmaids and big sis Malaika Arora obviously her (sizzling) maid of honor.

March 5: Salman Khan’s sister Alvira Agnihotri is hosting the sangeet and director Farah Khan is choreographing a musical skit for the bride! (How much more filmy can a sangeet possibly get, they even have a true blue filmy choreographer! Who wants to bet that Salman & Shah Rukh kiss and make up at this party just like they did at Farah Khan’s own sangeet!)

March 6: There’s a nikaah planned for the afternoon, and a grand reception in the evening both at Taj Lands End Hotel in Bandra, Mumbai

The celebrity guest list  includes nearly 500 friends and family from the filmy frat. Including Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey, Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder, Fardeen and Zayed Khan along with their wives, Anil Kapoor, Arjun and Mehr Rampal, Priyanka Chopra, Sajid and Wardha Nadiad-wala, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle, Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia, Saif Ali Khan, Urmila Matondkar, Karan Johar, Tusshar Kapoor and Manish Malhotra among others.

Shaadi Fashion: Amu is working on the bridesmaids outfits with Ashley Rebello, who is also designing her wedding gown. Amrita’s wedding outfit is an exquisite white confection of silk, satin and lace with diamantes and Swarovski crystals. It will be something along the lines of an antique Versace wedding gown old-fashioned and simple.

Shakeel has two outfits a suit and a sherwani designed by Shantanu-Nikhil and they are also designing Amrita’s lehenga (in baby pink, blue or lemon yellow) Her mehendi outfit will be designed by Manish Malhotra.

Of course there’s a wedding planner: Ravi Bakru who has several celebrity and international weddings under his belt has even signed a confidentiality contract to kim mum about the wedding!

Psst Party Crasher Alert: They’ve decided against a debaucherous bachelor(ette) party instead the bride and groom will host one togther at China House on March 1st. Amrita plans to wear a slinky Vikram Phadnis creation.
