As someone who has been a die-hard nutella fan since the age of 6 I simply had to let you know that today is World Nutella Day!
Nutella Day was created in 2007 when Sara Rosso, an American blogger living in Italy, thought that there were many random days celebrated in the year but no day set aside to truly appreciate Nutella. Voila. World Nutella Day was born.
What does one do on World Nutella Day? You might ask. Besides obviously (and unabashedly) eating Nutella. You can suggest a recipe. Eat Nutella with a spoon (a big one). Make Nutella art. Wax poetic about Nutella. Cuddle with Nutella. Strike a pose with Nutella. Re-live your first experience eating Nutella. Offer Nutella as a sacrifice. Have a Nutella-eating contest or a Nutella party. Take photos and/or upload a video then blog about it email: nutelladay@nutelladay.com with the subject “Nutella Day Entry” and include: Your Name, Your Blog’s Name, Your Blog’s URL, Your Post URL/Permalink and one 100×100 pixel photo.

highly recommend nutella hot chocolate – steam the milk and whisk in the nutella – et voila! considering it’s bitterly cold today in ny, that’s what i’ll be enjoying tonight.
