Miss India Regional Round 2009 was held yesterday at Sahara Star judged by Marc Robinson & Sindura Gadde, where 65 contestants from all over India were unveiled for the very first time. Some of these PYTs will soon be your new Bollywood belles, go on and place your bets! The contestants included MTV Splitsvilla’s Heena Pardasani and Channel [v] Get Gorgeous’ Salome, Aarohi Kadam & Arushi Virani.

Great pictures!!! I saw a picture of Shubra Aiyappa (Ford Supermodel India 2005) at the regionals. There are also rumors that Diana Penty was there or was invited to participate. Did you see her there? There must have been a lot of buzz if she indeed did appear at the regionals.
