Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra may deny their romantic linkups till kingdom come, but friends present at Shahid’s birthday bash last week swear that love is definitely in the air. A little birdie told me “Priyanka and Shahid were behaving as a much-in-love couple. In fact, it was as if they were ready to be open about their feelings for each other in front of friends.” (cue reaction “ooooooooooh!”)

The bigger surprise of course was that Priyanka (who likes to keep things on the down lo) played hostess all night. I hear, “Priyanka had helped Shahid organize the party (including the guest list) and had even turned up early to help him out. She was looking after the guests, and making sure that food and the drinks were circulated properly. In fact, when Shahid went down to see a guest out downstairs and was away for five minutes, Priyanka went down to look for him. They behaved like besotted lovebirds. Priyanka even asked people who wanted to leave, to stay back and party till morning.”

Shahid’s birthday party was at China House at the Hyatt, Mumbai, ironically Priyanka also celebrated her birthday at China House last year which was a surprise party from ex-boyfriend Harman Baweja.

Psst… Shahid and Priyanka flirt on Facebook. She’s “Sir Pranks-A-Lot” to keep the creeps away. Her status recently said “Sir Pranks-A-Lot is freezing her ar*e off in Chicago” to which Shahid Kapoor commented… It`s rare how some people can sleep through such natural disasters.
