RIP : Michael Jackson
I watched the Michael Jackson memorial online last night on web stream off the New York Times website. Heart-breaking stuff. I have to say I loved Al Shrapton’s line best, “I want his children to know: wasn’t nothing strange about your Daddy. It was strange what your Daddy had to deal with. But he dealt with it anyway.” And for me his daughter Paris Katherine Jackson said it all.
I told you this would be his grand exit. *sniff*

Paris’ speech brought tears to my eyes. I couldn’t help it. And how beautiful are his kids? :) Hope they are raised well from now on.

I think, MJ handled his controversies very wrongly. I mean he could have solved them all if he had dealt with them with patience and intelligence (he shud have seen how our politicos deal with gravest of controversies and inspite of being guilty them come out scotfree in the end. So juz like a typical bollywood potboiler, its a happy ending for them in the end.. n if its not a happy ending then its not the end as well.. they will try something else n come out scot free.:D.) So MJ just just just wasted his energies and resources in trying to come out clean of controversies and that just paved way for more controversies to come his way:(. Feeling pity for that guy, really. And the first thing which crossed my mind at the time of his death was that, what now of his children.?? with no proper mom in place for those kids. And with all in MJ’s family pitching for his property rather then his responsibilities, they will surely have to go through a rough patch of life. He was a nice dad, though what people may say, but he had always taken care of his children and had got each n every wish of them fullfilled, eventhough he was in debt. He had kept his children far away from the harsh realities of life n had defended them from the media as well. Anywayz life goes on. Juz pray that his kids get over all these with the most minimum of hardships..
