Didjya hear about this? the CEO of Twitter, Evan Williams was super excited that Mallika Sherawat (aka @mallikaLA) visited Twitter headquarters in San Francisco yesterday. Mallika greeted fans, signed autographs, did some Bollywood dance moves and posed for pictures outside Twitter’s headquarters and then gave some “inspirational remarks” to Twitter employees during their lunch break. I’m told she arrived in a stretch limousine and was apparently mobbed for an hour by fans and press, signing autographs and doing interviews. This was her reaction, “I’m honored to be the first Asian star to be invited to Twitter. Jai Ho!”

Twitter staff members informed Mallika’s producers that “Since Mallika joined the Twitter service, membership in India has skyrocketed.” (With just 7,523 followers as opposed to Perez Hilton’s 1,205,416, and case-in-point even Gul Panag has more than her with 8,824) I would like to believe that’s just some sort of weird coincidence. But then again, what do I know. As you see, I remain mystified about her seemingly magnetic power over the press & (mostly white) people. I’m trying really hard not to assume it has anything to do with the boobs. There I said it.

Psst! Sherawat is expected to soon hit the silver screen in the film HISSS, directed by Hollywood filmmaker Jennifer Lynch (daughter of David Lynch), in which she plays a snake woman. No seriously, a snake woman.

Xbox Kinect has more distinctive technology while using controller-free Kinect, making it much more frustrating that Microsoft’s own games felt more derivative as opposed to third-party Dance Central. Worse still , one of the most awe-inspiring Kinect game introduced soon, Child of Eden, wasn’t playable, and has no release date announced.
