Imran proposes, Avantika accepts!

Be still my beating heart; its true. Imran Khan has proposed to his long-time girlfriend Avantika Malik. A source revealed that, “Imran had thrown a surprise party for Avantika on her birthday on July 18, a very private affair, with only very close family and friends present. There he surprised everyone by proposing to Avantika. Amidst much cheering, she accepted.” (I mean who wouldn’t?!) The couple, who’ve been dating for six years and have always been candid about their relationship attending parties hand-in-entwined-hand are now taking things to the next level (and putting the gossip brigades out of biz.)
Imran admits, ‘Yes it’s true. But we’re planning to have a proper ceremony later, so right now it’s just for us and our families.’
Although the actor is keen on making a formal announcement only in January, the industry has already raised a toast to the couple since Bollywood got whiff of the news last week at Arjun Rampal’s nightclub (which Arjun describes as a haven for female party-goers, but more on that later!) opening in Delhi where Imran and Avantika were spotted. When Arjun found out about the couple’s engagement, he doubled the celebration quotient by announcing it. Several Bollywood biggies includingKaran Johar who were present congratulated them.
Congrats… I guess.
(Lol I’m kidding, I’m happy for them, albeit a tiny bit J.)

Now WHY can’t all men take cue from his dapper wardrobe. I’m so so SO proud of men, especially a couple like them to be so down to earth, unique with the added excitement of good taste in fashion, music and hospitality.
I just came across your blog and boy oh boy am I delighted. I’ll be in India in 2 weeks and I cant wait to hear Pirate Radio and start reading Mid-day atleast now I’m old enough not to shy away from the Mid-day mate :P
