Friday night I checked out quite a unique comedy act at Sophia college auditorium, Mumbai and yet more proof that we are truly in the digital age. Seriously a man after my own heart considering he’s a little photo-obsessed. (Remind you of anyone?!) Al Pitcher’s Picture show reminds us to stop rushing through our lives and take the time to notice the weird, inane and funny world we live in and he had more than enough photographic evidence to prove that it doesn’t get much better than Mumbai when you’re looking for the weird, funny or inane! If you ever get a chance catch his show or for starters some of his top clicks on Facebook, do it.
The other thing that was on my mind was what a cool coincidence that his name is Al Pitcher and he does the “Picture Show”, right? So I asked him how that happened. Apparently he received two reviews in one week; one saying how his show was “picture perfect” and the other complaining that a “pitcher of beer would have been better” the pun stuck and now he’s the digital camera comedy man with the Al Pitcher Picture Show. Sweet!
