Tote Take 2: The PR Package
Now that you know just how much fun I had at Tote here’s the PR package to go with it :) Nobody Panic. The celebrity spotting is Take 3!

The Banquet

The Bar
“A Destination for the Discerning launches in the heart of Mumbai. Superlative cuisine, dedicated event space and an uber-chic lounge bar. Award-winning architecture & design by Kapil Gupta & Chris Lee of Serie Architects. Unique musical identity conceived and created by the talented team at Submerge. The occasion marked the India launch of Vol. XVI of the iconic Café Del Mar label…”

The Grill

The BBQ
“After a decade of defining Bombay’s dining culture with award-winning gastronomical and hospitality ventures, Malini and Rahul Akerkar and their company deGustibus Hospitality, stand at the threshold of setting yet another milestone in the city’s gastronomical history – the much-awaited launch of “Tote on the turf” Having built a reputation for their world-class restaurants – Indigo, Indigo Cafe and Indigo Delicatessen; and recently, their premier catering company, Movable Feast, deGustibus Hospitality brings to the city another first-of-its-kind venture. Set amidst a lush canopy of 100-year old rain trees with a stunning backdrop of historic buildings and the green of the Mahalaxmi Race Course, Tote on the turf is spread over an area of 25,000 sq ft in mid-town. This is a pulsating urban playground where Bombayites will have the opportunity to come together at another landmark venture that brings together sprawling al-fresco dining, an elegant bar and restaurant and a unique versatile 8,000 sq ft dedicated event space.”

Looks fantastic. I’ve yet to hit up a swanky lounge in the good ol’ Mother Land. Getting shawasted off of “Sure Thing”, I’m sure, is a sure thing. That, Tic Tac and Ruby all sound soo good, did you try any of those?? Btw, saw your “Tote Take 1″ pics and I gotta know… do people really really party or can you only get tipsy at best, you know to keep it classy.

I mostly drank Vodka Redbull but plan to try those others one soon, so people DO really really party (open bar free drinks ergo…) I think it depends if you’re really famous then you’re more careful I guess!
