Top-toe trend report! Looks like the glitterati are doing this now-a-days. Take a simple black dress and team it with your brightest stilettos and you’re good to go. I think Avantika looks the cutest here, total angel-face, Sameera’s got that goofy pout going again but due respect to Aarti for finally picking up that old “less-is-more” credo.

Oh and funniest sh*t ever. The next morning I got a text from this guy I met some time ago thanking me profusely for the party and asking about tonight’s plans. For a moment I was quite worried about just how much I had had to drink when (after sending a suitably vague reply) I realized he meant to send it to Malini Akerkar! But what’s really funny is that today I got this email from the same guy so now I think he’s fair game :)

Hi Guys,

My only disappointment with Moveable Feast is that you weren’t there to share it with me! It’s OK, I really didn’t expect you to come and by the time my kids brought all their friends any civilized person would have steered well clear. But I have to say your guys were amazing. They were so punctual, helpful, unobtrusive, thoughtful, professional and friendly. The food and service was outstanding and all the guests were so complimentary about the whole event that I received endless accolades for doing nothing. Very very impressive and I will never look anywhere else for my party needs. I just hope your staff recover from meeting my sons!

Thanks again for a wonderful evening on Friday and I wish you every success with that most ambitious project. I look forward to catching up again somewhere soon.
