So in case you didn’t know this already, the shows at Fashion Week generally last a grand total of 20 minutes, its actually all the in-between buzz and various “lounges” that get the most face-time and traffic. Designers, models, buyers, and other fancy people can often be found schmoozing over (free) cocktails and dreams. For the lesser mortal there’s a free wine bar as well but the place to be seen at Lakme Fashion Week was the Grey Goose (by invitation only) lounge. Have Vodka, will party.

Psst! Sabina Chopra (aka Mrs. Lakme) was in a super good party mood, she also revealed that the little jacket she had on is actually a sari blouse but she couldn’t be bothered with the whole 9 yards!

Nice pics of the partying done to celebrate Fashion week. How about the clothes and bridalwear? Do you cover that too? Also, is that your boyfriend in the pic with you? That would be fun if he could join you at all of these events – unless you’re keeping it strictly business. That must be hard since I’m sure you’re constantly flirting with the line between work and play! We’re all envious of your job Malini!

Hahaha no that’s my friend Mike, my boyfriend is at Business School in Boston for another year but when he is here we go together (usually I always take someone along, otherwise as you said it can get boring!)
