Paris
Andre Saraiva

Watch out kids, soon there’s going to be a new vodka in town. Belvedere IX (pronounced One-X),  according to the press release, this vodka has 9 ingredients, “ginseng, guarana, acai, ginger, sweet almond, jasmine, eucalyptus, three cinnamon, and black cherry, blended seamlessly to create a warm and enlivening note on the nose.” Yum. The design by the way, is the result of a collaboration with Parisian graffiti artist Andre Saraiva; a glossy black Belvedere bottle with electric pink graffiti, reinventing Belvedere’s trademark palace and trees and according to the press note “transforming the brand into a vision of the night.” Speaking of vision of the night, I’m sure looking forward to the launch party 🙂

So my friend Mike Melli (remember the Tote Spiderman?) tells me there’s a bubblegum flavored vodka all the rage in the US called Three-O (by Three Olives) which tastes a whole lot like, well bubblicious and very little like vodka. This may sound fabulous to those with a fetish for sweet drinks in pink but try to really picture that hangover you’ll have after knocking back a bottle you couldn’t taste the alcohol in… Besides Mom and dad are gonna be so pissed! Nice going bubble-brains.
