so we don’t usually impose a word limit. Use as many or as little words as you want. Regarding formats as well, it doesn’t matter if its an essay,a poetry or a rhyme. You have full creative license.
Only, your piece needs to explore how your colorful and nomadic childhood has impacted you as an artist. There’s no right or wrong or even a decisive conclusion, just something that gives readers an insight into how geography plays a role in the making of an artist and their art.

I really did, such fascinating stuff I feel like this is what life is supposed to be about, you know? Carpe Diem O captain my captain? Sure I’d love to write a piece for you. How long/short should it be? I could write it as snatches of memories growing up, a cherry tree in Bonn, the swings in the playground in Germany, the bullets on our beds in Lebanon, the beach in Abidjan? :) I don’t think I have pictures to go with it though so maybe you can use your mad skills to put it together if I send you the copy? I only became trigger happy once I crossed my 20s sadly!
P.S. Would love to buy YOU a drink when you’re in Mumbai next, huge respect.

:) So glad you enjoyed our project. We are working on the next issue right now. It is themed around Artists and their version of ‘dsplacement.’ We’ve signed up a musician, two actresses and a writer so far.
I read that you’ve had a very interesting childhood growing up as a diplomat’s daughter. Would you be interested in writing for the next issue? About your experiences of living in various cities and now, mumbai – and how perhaps it has (if at all) impacted your “art” – RJing, writing..
