I know you must have been up to your ears in the Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha birthday buzz this past weekend so let me tell you about the anniversary I heard about first! Imran Khan and Avantika Malik (B-Town’s cutest couple) celebrated their 7 year anniversary on Saturday night after he so sweetly made an encore appearance for Pirate Radio 2.0 on 94.3 Radio One with me (part love of radio/part in support of his buddy Rish Oberoi and his new pop-art t-shirt venture called Paani Puri Clothing.) During the show he revealed the fact that 7 years ago he had filled Avantika’s room with candles and several mixed-tapes later they are still going strong :) Everybody together now, “Aaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!”

Congrats to them, but I think I would just laugh if my fiancee did that – filled a room with candles. Too cheesy for my taste, and might I add – extremely overdone. “Be unique and surprise me,” I would say! Which is exactly what was done when my significant other proposed. Again, keeping it anonymous to avoid hate mail.

but he did that 7 years ago as a teenager when he asked her out.. c’mon give him some credit anon ha ha Agreed its cheesy but still awwwwwwwwww Pirate Radios are awesome and wah his music taste lol half of them never heard.

7 years ago I wasn’t even allowed to talk to boys…my parents would threaten to beat them with a stick…hah..a bit of an exaggeration. Dating/having a boyfriend was out of the question. I still turned out engaged and happy though ;)
