I’m so excited that Pirate Radio is really taking off! All thanks to Imran Khan for starting it off (and naming it too!) Tonight director/producer Rohan Sippy is picking the play-list and I promise to post it all online asap! Make sure you tune in 94.3 Radio One 9pm to Midnight tonight and get an extraordinary education in music from the man himself! Twitter us tonight on @rohansippy and @Missmalini. Rohan also e-introduced me to the editor of Time Out Naresh Fernandes who he describes as “a man with an unparalleled music collection” and I’m hoping to get him on next. Psst! next week I’m giving out 30 DVDs each State of Play, Boat that Rocked & Public Enemies (now available on BIG Home Video) I think its a sign considering Boat that Rocked is all about Pirate Radio! Hey happened to randomly tune into pirate radio and was quite surprised cause I saw the boat that rocked some days back and I thought out loud someone really needs to do this in Mumbai we have noo good english radio and its reallllllllllllly sad! was great listening to rohan sippy with his varied choice of not only music but books and movies he kept referring am trying to get my hands on all thanx malini :D keep the boat rocking
