Top track by Lily Allen! Would you believe I heard it for the first time at SOBO Central in Tardeo, Mumbai – ironically while I was shopping?! Yup, go figure, a full out English in store radio station (the kind Nadir and I do for Shoppers Stop across the country – yup that’s my voice you hear!) But I love this video (the trippy balloon people and the mock up of orphan Annie’s stewards in waiting, Lily Allen’s wicked straight faced – acid laced sense of humor.) I love the lyrics… “Life’s about film stars and less about mothers” (even the naughty ones) “I want loads of clothes, and f*ckloads of diamonds, I heard people die while they’re trying to find them…” I love that this song is in some ways about all of us, and most especially about the rich & restless I often blog about here, the all have “The Fear.”The Fear – Lily Allen
