Teacher’s Pets: Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor

The Kaminey jodi Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra bagged their own Teacher’s Achievement Awards earlier this week. Priyanka dedicated hers to her parents, saying, “I am thankful to the jury. Whenever I get a prize, I think this would not have been possible without the constant support of my parents.” Shahid who won Teacher’s People Magazine Achiever award, said, “I feel special. It’s really a big achievement when such an eminent set of jury has decided to give me the award.” Oscar winning lyricist Gulzar was honored with lifetime achievement award at the Teacher’s award. But I know what you’re really interested in is did they bag the “most discreet break up award” as well?If tabloid sources are to be believed then Shahid dumped Priyanka over personality differences. (She is an extroverted party girl, he’s an introverted health freak.) “The decision to end it was made by Shahid. Priyanka is quite devastated. The actress is looking for peace. She visited a gurudwara and Ajmer Sharif last week. Her friends are rallying around her and helping her heal. A source close to the couple feel that it was a relationship that Shahid never really committed fully to. He was being too careful, too cautious, too guarded. Almost as if he knew it wasn’t going to last. Which is also probably why he never admitted to seeing her, even though he was very open about seeing Kareena Kapoor. Both Shahid and Priyanka remain unavailable for comment. “
Pity that, they do look cute together and she strikes me as a bit of a raging romantic, you’d think a girl that hot would have no trouble finding Mr. Right, right? Here’s hoping PC your PC (i.e. Prince Charming) is hot-footing it over to you as I type!

I love her to death, but she was foolish to put all her emotional eggs in Shahid’s aloof basket. Live and learn, though! She’s too hot and talented (not to mention intelligent) to let this keep her down for long…I hope.
