THalassa, I was thinkin the same thing – Mango hardly qualifies as a snob store lol.. perhaps the regular stores here are perceived as more special in India.

How very odd that a) Mango staff actually think they’re important enough to be snobby to customers (no offence honey, but you’re in the same league as H&M and they’ve got cuter stuff) and b) you can actually get stuff altered at a Mango store.

This must be a very India specific thing because I’m sure I’ve been to Mango stores in Spain and the US and seen no altering services on offer.

Yeah so I went back today and Rosalyn the manager was amazingly sweet (will wait to see what shape I get the new dress in tomorrow before I blog about it though) if all goes well will wear it tomorrow night!

I don’t think Mango is as good as it used to be. Their quality has deteriorated. Plus they have such a diff collection all over the place. India’s pretty good, but their NYC store is just plain trashy. I still shop there once in a while, but not half as much as I used to. Zara is infinitely better! Better styles and better quality.

But that’s quite a horror story. Good luck with getting it fixed. You should push till they replace it or something. REALLY.

mals this is so common man..!! and i have had the same experience but ont sweat sweety you look good in anything but i do feel bad for the 5000 rs that you lost…
just treathen them with yur miss malini reporter and blog status and tell them you know imran khan personally and will amke sure that he never buys clothes from mango again
