Everyone seems to have missed out on a few observations though. One – It was Shilpa’s manager (publicist) who had approached Raj initially for a perfume endorsement proposal. She must have “researched” him then. And two – why would Kavita think Shilpa is a cultural icon of India? OMG is she so clueless? Is India so insecure she would need to display so much cleavage at her own wedding? And is India so ostentatious she would need to make it a point to display one rock after another as if that is all that counts in a marriage? Mr Raj Kundra hasn’t a clue what he has got himself into. And Kavita Kundra need not sulk so…she looks good too and they have a daughter together.

love this post, malini – had me giggling from start to finish! damn, 20 carats! also, he not only bought the mansion for her in surrey, but then they demolished it and built it back up. and then he decided to move to mumbai,about which shilpa is “thrilled.” alas, they are moving into a flat owned by vashu bhagnani (right across from amitabh) immediately after the wedding, since suzanne roshan hasn;t finished decorating their new home, also in juhu. also, her partner’s house is big enough for 1000 guests?!

love your theories, but i think it may well be b. i feel bad for shamita – that girl should have steered clear of any industry where she would be compared with her sister..
