In the Heights! Aer-go Dikembe Mutombo.

John Adair, Dikembe Mutombo and Naveen Wadhera
You know, I got called out once by my friends for propagating the stereotype that all very tall African American guys must play basketball when in an attempt to be cute, I giggled and said something like, “do you play basketball?” to one very tall African American (and… he didn’t, sorry Dave!) But in my defense, look who was spotted at yet another one of Aer’s opening parties on the 34th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai, Dikembe Mutombo is a BIG time basketball player (in every sense of the word) and all 7 feet 2 inches of him (who’s apparently here doing some appearances for the NBA) was spotted living it up Mumbai-style!
Psst! Naveen Wadhera is one of the very charming guys who started Penn Masala (the über-cool and world’s first, Hindi a cappella group formed in 1996 by students at the University of Pennsylvania. Now of course they do everything from bollywood to hip-hop) the buzz is that they’ll be performing in Mumbai soon, I’ll keep you posted :)
I love these guys, if you’ve never heard em you simply have to check this out. Zero instruments and just all heart :)
Didjya Know?
One of the definitions of über-cool on urbandictionary.com is: supremely chique, handsome beyond description; geeky, yet bodaciously amazing.
Excellent, I love it!
