Kat’s Outta the Bag! (Again)

Here’s the latest on the Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif romance I told you was afoot… and the source this time may be none other than Priyanka Chopra herself! Ready?
So last new year’s eve the press reported that Katrina had flown to the US to be with Ranbir, where he was shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Anjaana Anjaani remember? When Katrina heard she’d been outed she hopped on a plane to London (where she had initially claimed to be visiting family) faster than you can say *C-A-T, Cat manne billi! (*desi joke for desi folks) Anyway once she got there she used her land-line to prove her location to everyone (mostly for Salman Khan’s benefit) she successfully pulled of this con several more times in fact until one night when she happened to run into the film’s leading lady Priyanka Chopra (you do know they don’t speak and pretty much hate each others guts right? I’m with PC on this one btw) So of course Katrina panics and asks Ranbir to talk to PC to keep their little rendezvous on the down lo’… but alas now the unit is back and everybody knows. I’m not saying Priyanka told, I’m just saying…
P.S. PC, WHAT? No instant twitter update? You could have tweeted a nice catty remark like “pleasant surprise bumping into Katrina here!” roflmao, girl you are too sweet for your own good :)
P.S.S. Ok, so they make a cute couple but seriously, how has Salman not killed him yet? Going soft Sallu? Dang.

KK has always given me “iffy” vibes. I thought at first it was just that she’s pardesi in Bollywood (I’d be fish outta water, too, if I could barely manage local language). But random, shady stuff keeps happening aruond her and her only real colleague support is Sallu- scary stuff, even at the worst of times…even the stroppiest leading lady has girlfriends (even if they’re frenemies).
Ranbir is just trifling. He tries to act like the precocious playboy, but it’s SUCH a put-on. It’s obvious he’s whupped by his family and managment team.
ANyway, I too am on PC’s side in this matter. She’s a *real* independent!

kk is so concerned about her image, that i can totally believe she would do this! and apparently, it wasn’t only pc – i read a while back that when some reporter called their house in london, one of the family members accidentally said she had gone to ny (and i think that’s how all of this really started). i also just recently read that kk used to be a prostitute (sick at home, so terribly bored), but that seems a it far fetched. anyway, i find it really weird that you would expect an entire cast and crew to keep something like this ‘private’ when clearly you didn’t yourself!

I want to know why PC and Katrina hate each other, too. I don’t think I know where that originated from.
So this whole thing about rumours cropping up about Katrina & Ranbir soon after his break-up with Deepika is sort of reminding me of that Shahid-Kareena-Saif triangle. Will be interesting to see what happens here.
I don’t know what to think about Katrina, honestly. She’s heck of pretty, but… I dunno, she’s been putting me off a lot lately. I think it’s because, as Kaviani said up there, random shady stuff keeps happening around her. And she really doesn’t seem like she has any friends at all in Bollywood, which is just odd, I think. I mean, I know a lot of people within the industry don’t get along, but STILL – the only person she seems to have on her side is Salman. Which is not exactly healthy, ifyouknowwhatImean.
Oh, and something about Ranbir doesn’t sit exactly right with me, either. I do think he is talented and he’s done a pretty good job this year with his movies, but personally… something’s not right for me. I think, again as Kaviani said, he tries to ACT like he’s all independent and cool, but he’s really just a mamma’s boy (which is not a bad thing – I just think that the persona he tries to project is slightly unsettling because you CAN see right through it).
On the other hand, two thumbs up for PC! She gives off really good vibes. I like that chick! :)

This post kinda disturbed me. If all they say about Salman Khan is true – and he does get provoked etc, should you be posting such a blog? I guess your blog most likely would not be the “original” provocation for Salman Khan.
But what if instead of getting mad @ Ranbir Kapoor, he gets mad @ Katrina Kaif and god forbid, gets (even physically) mad @ her?
Do you want to sit back and wince that I too posted a gossipy blog on it and in a way is a part of such a bad thing??
I know I may be over-reacting and all. And I am just a totally unclued in reader of your blog. But – do we want to comment on other people’s personal lives in such a way – in the name of gossip – such that tomorrow we may be part of that “horrible” media that caused all of that mess, etc etc!
I love your blogs… but this was a bit disturbing!

Hmm Swarna, I see your point but the thing is he probably knows a lot more than you or I do and by my writing about it I doubt very much he would do anything less or more aggressive than he intends to. Having said that I’m told his violent days (with women at least) are over which is a good thing…
As a gossip columnist I have learnt a) not to take myself too seriously and b) accept that what I do is obviously for entertainment purposes and trying to ride the moral high ground is just not an option,,,
In short should I be commenting on people’s personal lives? Well I dunno but that’s exactly what I do and the heart of this blog!
