Oh goody, I was starting to wonder what happened to our # 1 drama queen Rakhi Sawant. Turns out she’s right where we left her… on reality TV! Recently on the new Star Plus show, Zara Nach Ke Dikha, Rakhi danced for their Mother’s Day special to a “mehbooba mehbooba” remix from film Sholay along with her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi. (of course the episode marked Rakhi’s reunion with Abhishek after their very dramatic break up, how convenient!) True to form, Rakhi tried to cash in on the reunion drama by apologizing profusely to Abhishek’s mother, who was also present on the show…oh gejus. I’m told the best bit however is when she doesn’t like what the judges have to say, like this one time when Shilpa called her performance “average” and not one befitting an item bomb. Rakhi’s retort was to refer to Shilpa as “the Amitabh Bachchan of television.” Hilarious, and of course not one to hold back, Rakhi went on to declared that, “even Sachin Tendulkar is out on zero at times.” to which co-judge Arshad Warsi quipped, “When Sachin scores a zero, he is credited zero runs on the scoreboard too. You should keep that in mind.” Boom.
