FIFA Foe Fum Footie for Dummies – VIVA ESPANA!

So I swear we had every intention of shooting way more of these but then schedules didn’t match, I went to South Africa and somebody ordered shots! Anyhow VIVA ESPANA baby they kicked some German butt last night :) I’m super excited for the finals now and to be honest, I’m happy that no matter who wins there will be new hands on the trophy this time! (Someone told me an interesting statistic, which Chetan confirms) about how no World Cup team has ever won with a foreign coach but both these teams have their own coaches so I guess its up to the octopus now! Here’s the footage I managed featuring Ashwin Mushram and Chetan Kapoor last night at the Frog and a few glimpses into Spain’s previous victories on my epic World Cup trip (loads more on that coming to a blog near you real soon!) ESPANA GO ESPANA!

So Chetan finally got his Vuvuzela and all of us find it delightfully amusing that during every single World Cup match we get to watch Ashwin try to cross the street in that swanky Swift commercial :)

Loved the ad & Footie for Dummies Vid. How did you put up with that vuvuzela racket? the next thing for IPL I think! Spain to win in extra time, enjoy the final.

German ass???!!! PLEASE do not be an ignorant arsehole yourself, get your facts straight before writing a post! The match was against The Netherlands a.k.a The Dutch! Germany played against Uruguay and won with 3-2 in favour. From someone who is South Africa, and interested in the FIFA World Cup, you should have know that last nights match was between the Spanish and DUTCH, and not Spanish and German.

ummm – anonymous – to state the obvious, this post was written on july 8th. i love miss malini, and she has many talents, but i am pretty sure that on july 8th, she would not have been able to predict spain’s win in the final (although, clearly here she was talking about the SEMI-FINAL). but so nice of you to be insulting, despite the fact that you are wrong!

Thanks for having my back ak :) and yes I did mean Spain kicked Germany’s butt which they DID in the semi finals with a 1-0 victory over Germany in Durban.
