The Ashtrays Turn Up the Heat at Not Just Jazz by the Bay!

You gotta love Ash Chandler; Funny guy, infectious personality and all heart. (So fine, I’m a little partial but I love my peeps what can I say!) Which is why it was entirely my pleasure to introduce his band at Jazz on Friday night (time-line: B.B. – before Bachchan lol.) Crazy thing is I’ve been hearing all sorts of rumors that Sanjay Narang has sold a bunch of his restaurants (not like he needs the money right?) so Not Just Jazz by the Bay is getting the chop too (closing end August). But apparently that’s not true, he’s held on to this one and plans to renovate and reopen *phew*. Anyhoo, Friday the 13th was a lucky night for anyone who happened to pop into to NJJBTB for a LIIT (my preferred poison) because not only was Mumbai’s glitterati in attendance with Angad Bedi, Acquin Paes, Suresh & Devieka Bhojwani, Malavika Sanghvi, Gary Lawyer, Owen Roncon, Brian Tellis, Nausheen Ali Sardar, Adam & Nisha Bedi, Palak & Sammeer Seth, Remu &Naaz Zaveri, Brian & Kaysoon Brown, Gautam Singhania, AD Singh, Fahad Samar, Vikram & Nisha Raizaada and Rahul Prasad the Ashtrays were really on fire, here’s the evidence!

Richie! I swear its not fake :) I’m a diplobrat = grew up in American Schools all over the world because my dad was in the IFS, so seriously can’t help it!

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you,coach outlet and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
