In digging for Bollywood dirt for my 10 minute telephonic update on Tommy Sandhu’s breakfast show on the BBC Asia Network I came across this little gem of goss. If it is in fact true then I’m betting their conversations in English have got to be frigging hilarious (since both their diction is so great.)

Hot off the Press!
It seems Bollywood’s bad-boy Salman Khan has found a new friend in “Gangster” girl Kangna Ranaut. Or at least that’s what B-town is buzzing about! The word is that this new “friendship” has landed Kangna a role in an untitled flick opposite Salman himself. The film is a Hindi remake of Manjerkar’s Marathi film “Mee Shivajiarje Bhosle Boltoy”. Of course all this while everyone was expecting Salman to cast on-again-off-again girlfriend, Katrina Kaif in the lead, but not so much. Clearly the fashionable flavor of the month is Ms. Ranaut.
Psst! Not very long ago (after the success party of “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai”) Kangna was spotted doing the walk of shame out of Salman’s apartment early the next morning. I’m sure they were just “discussing the film” as some insiders claim. Not.

Salman Khan is such an absolute creep. Kangana always seemed like a genuine, gutsy small town girl who was unafraid to stand out from the rest of the Bolly barbies and I’m deeply disappointed to hear this about her.
As for Katrina, she’s Bollywood reigning queen and Salman is a gradually fading has-been. I’m pretty sure she moved onto greener pastures (a.k.a Ranbir) a lot before Kangana decided to lower her standards (and lose her principles!!) to be with this creep.
Malini I’m surprised that you’re being so judgemental about Kangana and so scornful about Katrina, when in its Salman who is the slimiest charecter of them all. You sound like a bit of a chauvinist,to be honest. You claim to be inspired by Perez and other American gossip blogs but your tone is quite narrow-minded and sexist,much like the Indian film mags.

Anon..Who do u call a creep…A unfamiliar new gurl who piggy backed her way to the top through the shoulder of the Rockstar of the industry(and then ditched him) or the Genuine Man who takes the Shot from all his Gurls and keep a self respecting silence atleast in the Media Front..Hmm Seems Anon seems to be living in a Narrow Minded World of his..
BTW Before u call Salman a Has been..U shuld check out his Fan Base in Small towns and the NRI Market…places ur katrina,Ranbir,shahid and other Metro Candy Floss Multiplex Pin Ups can only dream of..

Woah anon, not sure where you get narrow-minded from my post haha I was just having a bit of fun and don’t see where I come across as scornful of Katrina at all.. calm down over there :)
P.S. Salman has his good days and bad days, some people swear he’s a gem others say he’s an asshole but undeniable as Suhail says he is a superstar in small town India for sure.

Err…and that obviously makes up for his poaching, his drunk driving and his abusive behaviour towards his ex-girlfriends?
As for Suhail, I dont even have words. That was the most biased comment ever.
But anyway Malini, I’m really sorry. We obviously have very different perspectives of the world and don’t worry, I’m not going to come onto this blog and bother you with my comments anymore, obviously some people like what you are doing. So I’ll just leave cause it doesnt suit me instead of staying and being the sour grapes.

(all the anger against Mel Gibson, Ashley Cole and other people who abused/ cheated their GFs). But anyway, thats all.

Oh, no tears, Malini – this post is great because now I know where to find you on BBC Asia again (after Nikki Bedi’s show was canceled, I didn’t know if you had just stopped with the goss on BBC-A). Anyway, I like Kangana, and she’s far more talented than most of her contemporaries, so she’s not exactly a flash in the pan. I can see the appeal of Salman, but hopefully he doesn’t influence her career choices, because she’s been doing great so far.
