Model Behavior; “This is My Happy Face!”

post show at IIJW

Surelee Joseph and Carol Gracias
I love the fact that after a long night of rehearsals, layers of make up and painful hairpins these two cuties, Surelee Joseph and Carol Gracias still had giant genuine smiles on their faces post the IIJW finale last night (or perhaps that’s why!) Because truth be told, modeling isn’t as easy at it looks. Its not just about looking pretty and strutting down the ramp for five seconds and you’re done. For starters there are hours of fittings, bizarre make up rituals, bitchy counterparts and very late nights. Which is why in the run up to Fashion Week I plan to dig deep and blog all about what happens on and off the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week and beyond! Look out for super exclusive footage, gen next video blogs and possibly even free passes to LFW right here.
Psst! Check out exclusive updates on MissMalini’s celebrity blog via Vogue.in and frenchconnection.in too.

Thanks for the tip about the beach! This is a great time to be at Tahoe. Wish I were there.
