i need a make over so badly, coz i m stuck with the same look for so long and being a college student i would like to have new looks every now and then but since parents think i m a lil gal n thus they refuse giving me money for fashion…hence i really really need a makeover…n also need to look a hot in college…. :)

hey! Ok, this response had a lot of contemplation go into it so brace yourself, its probably going to be a long one! :)
so first I have to tell you how much I love your blog! (how could I not?)especially because I have been away from Bombay for so long (will tell you about that in a minute) and miss my life and my friends there sorely, and cannot wait to come back and parrrtayyy! ;) but reading your stuff really makes me feel almost like I’m back home and right in the middle of things… pity though I didnt start following it sooner, (I will be home now in less than a week) it would have made my life here so much less “boring”…
Anyway, so I don’t really “need” a makeover but I’ll tell you why I deserve one anyway (you asked!!) Right… for the last 8 months I’ve been working in a remote village in Gujarat on the north western coast (read middle of nowhere) working on a research paper on a marine conservation project (blah, blah… doing my bit for the environement etc. etc.) and as much as I love my work and enjoy it (ok, maybe its not as cool as blogging about “dos” in Bombay, but pretty awesome still) the hours out in the sun, sea and sand studying corals, swimming with whale sharks etc. does take its toll. As a result I now look like a cross between a sloth bear and a common langur!!! (ok, I’m LOL at that image,I’m sure you are too) Of course,keeping in mind the small-remote-village nature of this place makes it impossible to find any grooming services (as you might have guessed)
So, now as I’m wrapping up here and preparing to return home to my beloved city and people, I’d do well to clean up my act just so they don’t mistake me for a mongrel and put a flea collar on me! And honestly, who wouldnt want a makeover, right?!?! I for one would definitely love one and at wat better time than when I come back to civilization from living with frogs, spiders and lizards IN my house and wild boars and monitor lizards in my garden?! (and I might be featured on your blog?!!! WOW!! hahah)
Honestly, don’t matter if I don’t get it, I got an excuse to write my appreciation. :) makeover or no makeover you are the most awesome “friday club girl” !! ;)
P.S. Did I tell you how much I love your blog? the fact that I should be wworking on my thesis and am instead typing a reply to you should say something, eh?!

My vote goes to A.K.A. I know how it feels, living like that. I never went for any makeover. My face keeps on changing itself to give me new and rather funny looks after every 2 years. I would have loved to go for something new (like a makeover!)..but I am in Bangalore, so don’t qualify for this comp. I still vote for A.K.A..!! :D…Will love to see the pics here!!!

hey MAC iz always a superb to use it..m having a party at my college on 3rd september and m monotonous wid my same look..also dnt use much make up so have no idea how to look different at dat event ..its gonna be hottest party ever also theme of d party is RED CARPET so i want to dress up n look as if m a big celebrity…haha..:).i really love d products of mac no doubt..!! since i hav never done makeover kinda thing so i jus desperately wanna see how i look after make over..hope u understand..:).
