Mumbai Glitterati is now gearing up for Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive ’10 at the Grand Hyatt from September 17th-22nd. After announcing the 74 designers participating this time at a press conference earlier in the week, Lakme and IMG hosted a party at Olive, Mahalaxmi on Thursday to celebrate 11 years of fashion where all the pretty people turned up (I especially loved Sabina Chopra’s funky fitted abstract-print dress!) and Narendra Kumar Ahmed gave me the scoop on his Killer Nari line of denims. (I even got to break out my Shantanu & Nikhil number for the night.) I’m SO excited to bring you a sneak peak at everything that goes on behind-the-scenes at LFW and all the laughter and gossip from between-show cigarette breaks! For now though, take a look at how all the fashionistas deck up for cocktails with the rich and restless :)

Psst! More Highlights from LFW Winter/Festive ’10

1. Manish Arora and Ritu Kumar will show for the first time on the LFW runway alongside returning LFW regulars like Anita Dongre, Anand Kabra, Anupama Dayal, Krishna Mehta, Little Shilpa, Manish Malhotra, Neeta Lulla, Raakesh Agarvwal, Satya Paul and Troy Costa.
