Salman Khan: “Shah Rukh meri girl friend nahi thi…”

Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif
As you can see I’m now officially tripping on Salman Khan’s interview transcripts. When asked if he missed his one-time BFF Shah Rukh Khan at all, his blunt comeback was, “Shah Rukh meri girl friend nahi thi… apni purani girlfriend ko miss nahi karta, Shahrukh ko kya karunga*. Shahrukh and I don’t talk anymore. We had misunderstanding and hence parted ways. There is no chance of Shahrukh and Salman coming together in future.” I guess that answers my next question on Katrina then too. Ok, I’m done :)
*Lost in Translation: Shah Rukh wasn’t my girlfriend. I don’t even miss my old girlfriend why would I miss Shah Rukh Khan.

No idea why, and highly ironic, but I read his quote in a very “Don ko pakadna…”esque way. Oh Sallu mian, the biggest drama queen Bollywood’s ever seen if there ever was one. That analogy is so horrible it’s cute– like some teenage boy trying really hard to be macho. I have a serious love-hate relationship with him, but he’s right (as stated in your previous post) the guy has an insanely large and loyal fan base, press or no press.

Atleast this guy doesn’t come across as fake…u can make out in the interview that he saying what he means..not like a aamir and SRK who have bigger ego issue between them and still try to smile in each other arms..
Salman is way better then these two..only problem is he is not articulate so ends up using harsh words….but then if he was articulate then i guess he would also look fake….
this is what sells salman…..he says wht he wants to and audience connects with…same with movies they are mere extensions of the image the he lives with Dabangg highlights it…

salu bhai needs to grow up mentally. only bitches fight & never make up. real men forgive & forget. in the recent 17th star screen awards function arbaaz khan looked like he was almost going to rip srk apart for receiving the popular award, i think with a hit movie under arbaaz’s belt, he needs to mature up and not act like a spoilt little kid who lost his gift to his brother’s enemy.
