How the Glitterati Get Invited to Lakme Fashion Week!

It happens every year (sometimes twice) that the privileged few get this glorious email invitation from Anil Chopra and N. Rajaram to pick the shows they most want to see (of course their designer buddies often invite them personally and plonk them in the front row, or in the case of Kishen Mulchandani have no choice) but now that I’m blogging I get to go to all of them as “press” but I’ve requested a few passes for the red carpet privileges none-the-less. I’m hoping to catch Manish Arora, Manish Malhotra, Narendra Kumar (remember he told us about Killer Nari?) and Anupam & Nachiket Barve from somewhere in the first four rows :)
