Chandrachur Singh
Chandrachur Singh

Tasneem was wondering what Chandrachur Singh has been up to since he was randomly spotted at Aamby Valley India Bridal Week and got me curious as well so I did a little digging! Seven years after shooting for his last film “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” and two years after his last release “Sarhad Paar”, Chandrachur Singh made a comeback to the silver screen in a part live – part animation film called “Maruti Mera Dosst” based on mythical elements in current times. As of last night he was spotted at the Signature Lounge at Aamby Valley India Bridal Week where all the rich and restless go to tank up and schmooze between shows (more pix here) He also appears to have put on a little chub since his heyday in Maachis and Wikipedia currently reads “Chandrachur Singh  (born 11 October 1968) is an Indian actor, who used to appear in Bollywood films… It was stated that his comeback film was “Maruti Mera Dosst“, which turned out to be a cameo appearance in a father role. With no releases from prestigious production houses for years and no sign of the actor moving on to character roles or roles on television it appears that the he is no longer a part of Bollywood.” Oh well.
