Parhad Goghavala is a commercial and fine art photographer and a member of the Breach Candy Swimming Bath Trust (didn’t know they had one!) Since he’s always at the club he decided to make a fine art collection of the “Flowers of Breach Candy”. Collected over three years, his twenty-four image collection entitled “Effloresce” (meaning to burst into bloom) is finally ready. The really nice bit about this is that he’s donating them to the club to sell for charity. Buyers can pick a charity close to their heart (from this list) to make the donation too. Sweet deal, the NGO gets the money and the rich & restless get a piece of art (plus a pat on the back.) I like it. So if you happen to be relatively rich (aka a member of the Breach Candy Club) step up and s(m)ell the flowers.
Psst! I believe  Kailash Surendranath bought a bunch too 🙂
The show is on at the club premises till the 17th of December.
