I like to think I’m a pretty good party host (albeit a domestically challenged one!) and love a new twist on the usual pre-game drinks at home. Which is why I thought it was very cool when Sula offered to help me throw an impromptu pre-New Year’s Eve wine & cheese evening at my house. You can do the same, all you need is a little help from Nature’s Basket 🙂 for starters here’s a suggestion on some wine and cheese pairings that go nicely…
Sula Brut & Brie
Sauvignon Blanc & Chevre (Goat’s cheese)
Red Zinfandel & Emmental
Dindori Shiraz & Cheddar
Late Harvest Chenin Blanc & Blue cheese
For 7 couples you need 14 champagne flutes, 28 wine glasses, 2 packets of crackers, about 200 grams of each of the cheeses, tissues and some toothpicks. Of course it helps if you have sommelier in the house so watch the video for Sovna’s tips who conducted our tasting 🙂
