Fashion designer Rina Shah will be showcasing her Polo inspired collection called Rinaldi Polo on the 15th of March at Lakmé Fashion Week. Rina says her inspiration comes from her love of horses, “I love horses and always wanted to ride. Last polo season I had gone to watch a game with some friends and fell in love with the sport and since then have been pursuing it I love challenges and took up this one, this year has been one hell of a ride and I want my collection to reflect the fun & style around Polo”.
Today, she held a preview of the collection and invited guests to come take a look at before it hits the runways. As we can see from the bags below, it’ll be a mix of equestrian prints with Rina’s signature style of embellishments. I’m also presuming a strong use of leather and as Polo is a sport, the collection will undoubtedly have a sporty feel.
