Well hello Mr. B! I have to say my job has its perks (and then some days I have to wake up bright and early on a Friday morning to hang out with Amitabh Bachchan at the biggest jewellery store I have ever seen… ya all perks!) Even though it was a super hot day in the sweltering Mumbai sun the anticipation for Big B.’s arrival in front of a giant royal red curtain was palatable. (Even the emcee announced how this was going to be the hottest launch ever, pun intended several times, lol!) Once he arrived all smiles and a ribbon cutting later we wound up in a press conference room full of laughter (more pix here!) courtesy the Big B.’s signature wit (and some oddly aggressive reporters – actually that’s probably not so odd.) I even managed to take a tour of the store and wanted one of everything on display. Very cool that they have a kids playroom and a men’s lounge with the luxury of so much space! I may have to revisit with the fiancee and convince him to buy me something pretty for the big day! You know what I really want? One of those Sex In The City, Carrie Bradshaw-ish name necklaces with “MissMalini” on a silver chain, maybe Tanishq can make me one? :) xoxo
