Kareena Kapoor: “I’m the best…My co-stars call me selfish…I reply saying, I can’t help it.”

I’m reading a lot of articles (like the interview in Grazia quoted above) about Kareena Kapoor who is in the news again as she might be (again) the lead in the much publicized Heroine. However, what caught my eye is some of her quotes that are being floated around in the media. For example, as Miss Malini reported: “I was there to meet Saif (beau Saif Ali Khan). I’ll leave people to fantasise about what we did there…”
Even when she was on Koffee with Karan, she praised herself a lot. Now, I don’t want to offend Kareena Kapoor fans, who, I must say are as fiercely loyal as Twihards (Twilight Fans). Kareena Kapoor could be very self-confident as well, an admirable trait. But, I cannot help wonder, if another actress said these things, like Priyanka Chopra or Katrina Kaif, the media would have a field day, and the actress would probably be looked down upon in Bollywood. What do you think, do you think Kareena Kapoor can come off as arrogant in her interviews, or just self-confident?
