So I stumbled upon this article, saying Paris Hilton is going to appear on Koffee with Karan. I know, the show did finish taping, but the article states Karan Johar will return to his talk show set to tape a special episode for Paris Hilton.
My question is, why? I mean, Karan Johar has all of Bollywood’s most popular actors on his show, gets them to answer the trickiest questions, and make some gossip headlines. In my opinion, I enjoy Koffee with Karan much more than India’s Most Desirable (although I am looking forward to Simi Garewal interviewing Freida Pinto (and then there’s Lady Gaga and Simi too!) I would always watch Koffee with Karan as soon as possible, but I definitely would not see a Paris Hilton themed show! Paris Hilton has also been known to give bad interviews, with a good example being her walkout from ABC News.
I know Bollywood is fascinated with all things Hollywood, but that fascination has lead to disasters, like Kambakht Ishq. However, Karan Johar did interview Richard Gere successfully a few years ago, and I would not mind if he interviewed someone in Hollywood who was more interesting. This may be a false news item, I hope it is, and Karan Johar can clear this up. What do you guys think, would you want to see Paris Hilton on Koffee with Karan?
