There was a palpable energy last night at Tote, which is the location for all of LFW’s off site shows. The flamboyant Rohit Bal kicked off the week with a show that delivered on a high note. Although a touch of Givenchy was evident in a few garments, the over collection was very much Rohit Bal. Long heavy lehengas with back less corsets, something any MissMalini bride-to-be will covet were the high light of the show. An almost childlike essence was seen in his embroidery, with peacocks and flowers dotted with colourful sequins.
Arjun Rampal closed the show, with his ‘Hero’ shirt, and unlike his last all noir appearance, this time he was all in white, looking every bit the dream boy we imagine him to be. The night ended with all the wine (both red and white) exhausted and the mini brownies being devoured. Stay tuned as we bring you more from what’s going on at LFW.
