I kid you not. It took me about half an hour and 25 BBM messages to get this “casual-chic” outfit together on Sunday. And yes, I confess I often text my fashion police (aka Sue Castellino) for advice and this is what our conversation went like!
MM: Hey Sue, quick help!
SC: Hmm, ya?
MM: This Anita Dongre dress…
MM: …with which pumps and accessories?
SC: You in floral?!
MM: Ya I’m trying to be fashionable!
MM: Cute?
SC: Very cute. I love the dress for brunch…
SC: Hmm not feeling the flats with the dress.
MM: Nude Zara?
SC: Ya try the Nude Zara heels…
MM: This necklace or the Sush and Shish?
SC: Show me the other neck piece?
SC: Loving the neck piece!!! Do you have a plain white dress?
MM: I kinda wanna wear this dress!
SC: Ok then no neck piece.
MM: Bangles?
SC: No bangles.
SC: Nude Zara heels.
MM: This bag?
SC: Love the bag!
SC: Try the black Zara actually, very chic!
MM: But those are SO uncomfortable!
SC: Malini! It’s Fashion! I can’t feel my toes.
MM: See?
SC: Sooo Hot!!
SC: Soooooooo Haaaawwwttt!
MM: Hahaha ok but I’m wearing the nudes to brunch!
