Are they dateable?
Are they dateable?

Earlier, I told you about the top 5 worst men to date in Bollywood. But remember I mentioned daydreams and YRF-style romantic scenes? Yup, I have a list of Bollywood men I’d never date, but more importantly – I have a list of Bollywood men I’d love to date. Let’s be honest, my list is probably just about equal to my height, but I’m condensing it and giving to you the Bollywood men who would make it to the Top 5 on my wishlist! 🙂

1. Shahid Kapoor

I could wax lyrical about my love for Shahid Kapoor, but to put it succinctly: he’s an all-out good guy at heart, the kind you’d love to take home – yet he has that bad boy edge to him that’s so appealing! He’s a vegetarian and teetotaler (plus points for remaining true to his spiritual beliefs and not giving in to the trappings of Bollywood!) and a total family-man at heart, which is always endearing. Plus, he was a total sweetheart when I met him (twice!); no airs about him at all, and isn’t that always a refreshing thing to see in Bollywood?! Did you read MissMalini’s exclusive interview with him? Yup, this one’s a keeper.

2. Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking – too obvious a choice. But honestly, I couldn’t resist. He was my first Bollywood love (back when I probably didn’t even completely understand what films were!) and captures a small piece of my heart even today. He’s a complete charmer, and with a smile like that, who could stay away? Plus, he’s practically synonymous with romance in Bollywood – the perfect candidate to run through a cornfield with (oh, come on, admit it – you’ve fantasized about that at least once!)

3. Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan

I won’t lie; my heart broke a little the day he married Aishwarya Rai. There is just something so likable about this guy, and I can’t even put my finger on what exactly. He’s got a grin that’s infectious and seems like the type you could hang out with for hours doing absolutely nothing. And I love that he has a good-natured sense of humour and doesn’t take criticism too seriously!

4. Abhay Deol

Abhay Deol

Check out MissMalini’s exclusive interview with him if you’re wondering why he’s on the list! He seems like a ton of fun; total goofball when he wants to be yet completely serious at times, especially when it comes to his work and the slightly offbeat cinema he usually gravitates towards. Oh, and how does he describe himself in three words? “I am hungry!” Well, you know what, Abhay? I’m hungry, too – wanna grab a bite?! 😀

5. Rahul Khanna

Oh, Rahul Khanna. There’s probably nothing more appealing in a man than wit – and boy, does Rahul Khanna have oodles of it. He’s got a way with words like few others have, and honestly, that’s all he’ll ever need to win me over. But then of course he has to go and look like that too, and, well… now I know why I only ever meet insipid and average-looking men. Rahul Khanna is hogging all the wit and good looks! (P.S., Rahul, please write a book? Pretty please?! I can’t make do with only your tweets. 140 characters just aren’t enough to hold all your awesomeness.)

What about you? What does your Bollywood date wishlist look like? 🙂
