On Tuesday night, actor Abhishek Bachchan was injured while shooting for his film Bol Bachchan in Jaipur. He was doing a stunt scene using a cycle rickshaw, and there sustained a deep gash above his right eye (sort of reminds you of MissMalini‘s recent injury, heh, check out this post where she’s sporting her band-aid!)

Since the injury was close to the eye and surgery was required, the actor was then flown to Mumbai where he received six stitches to patch himself up (ouch). We hear that everyone on sets insisted on him using a stunt double, but Abhishek was adamant about doing the stunt himself. Now we gotta wonder if he’ll stick to this decision for further shots!
