Apart from the India Resort Fashion Week (IRFW) which takes place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Goa next month, you can also look forward to the India Resort Fashion Festival (IRFF), which is an extension to the India Resort Fashion Week.
This first of its kind fashion and music festival will take place on the 10th and 11th of December 2011 at one of the chicest resorts in Goa – Marbela Beach Resort. This will be the only beach fashion festival that India has ever experienced so far. The two day fashion fiesta will kick start with the last day of IRFW showcasing the best in resort fashion via three exclusive shows and a Shopping Village followed by performances by a remarkable lineup of international DJ’s, musical acts and exceptional performance arts.
Exclusive resort creations from eminent designer brands like Provogue, Shantanu & Nikhil and Manish Malhotra will be showcased as the sun sets over the horizon with models walking down a scenic white sand ramp with an oceanic view. As IRFW goes off into the sunset, exotic and beautiful performance arts such as fire dancers, belly dancers, acrobats, and a lineup of international DJ’s and musicians will continue to keep the vibe and tempo of festival at its peak.
The IRFF would be incomplete without its very own IRFW Shopping Village where one can go on a shopping spree. A mélange of small stalls selling all sorts of exquisite products displayed in their stores or shacks. This sun-kissed beach oasis, with two-days of power-packed music and dance is sure to move waves all though the country – a must for all to experience.
