Burberry and Superna Motwane hosted the cutest party for Moms and their little ones at their Palladium store in Mumbai this week. For me the highlight really was being able to actually take my daughter along for work!

So, the entire first floor of the store which houses bags and shoes for women and Burberry’s all new kids collection was transformed into a fun, party place (looked like a warm and happy Burberry birthday) for the kiddos.

I love how they worked so hard to make sure they had everything the kids genuinely enjoy and the staff ensured everything was just perfect as they interacted with the young fashionistas and joined in the fun.

Cookies for the little ones

So, there were silver gas Balloons (yes, they had Burberry checks) all over giving the whole place a fairytale feel. And to keep the young minds busy, they had a bunch of delightful games.

I adore children and watching them color these little tees, decide if they want a Chihuahua or a Tiara shaped Balloon from the balloon artist and get a Spiderman tattoo on their hands, it was all very delightful.

I laughed and loved my little chat with Manasi Scott and her lovely son, Zephan. Madhoo Shah and her daughter, Ameya spoke to me about their special bond and the blast they had shopping at Burberry for her birthday.

Gayatri Oberoi looked radiant as ever with her two sons by her side. While the kids sampled some yummy teddy bear, rocking horse and gingerbread man shaped cookies, the moms caught up on their gossip over a glass of champagne and some delectable canapés.

There were doodle boards and the kids drew pretty princess castles and other fun stuff. And my daughter Allisah had a blast just playing around on the enormous Burberry beanbags.

The new collection has an explosion of color and you could see the moms loved it coz everyone was just so busy hunting for the right size in jackets, shoes and dresses for their kids.

The pretty darlings went home with a bunch of their favorite balloons and little goodie bags full of Burberry stuff. We can’t wait for these guys to have their next big surprise bash!
