The designers and organizer of the event, Jorge Menna, MD of Trinity Co. are delighted to be launching in India. Jorge Menna said: “We work with numerous labels in London, within fashion and sponsorship. With our own show production experience and having travelled the world, it seems entirely obvious to come to India to launch World Catwalk, with Mercedes-Benz World Catwalk India, hosted by Taj. We have had fantastic support from the global fashion activity of Mercedes-Benz, as well as Taj and British Airways. We are incredibly encouraged and excited at just how well received this show has already been. The energy here is unrivalled, as is that of all our fantastic Indian chairs. We could not have chosen a better country in which to launch. We are excited that twice a year we will be bringing increasing numbers of collections and designers to India and taking Indian designers abroad.”

Debashis Mitra, Director – Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India said, “Mercedes-Benz and fashion have been synonymous with each. Internationally Mercedes-Benz is associated with fashion under the title of ‘Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week’. Our association with World Catwalk India marks another initiative of Mercedes-Benz India into the Indian fashion arena. I am confident this association would further reinforce our cars as a hallmark of latest design and reinforce the fashion statement that our cars make – best or nothing.”
