FHM (India) Magazine has apparently scored a coup by getting starlet Veena Malik to shed her clothes for a recent edition of their magazine. The controversial lady has now asked her PR agency to release a note that she has no plans to oblige Hollywood by stripping for any films she does there.
Says the PR note sent out by Nisha Sahdev of Sahdev Media – Actress/Model Veena Malik who is currently in Dubai with her London PR team sealing off deals for 2012 has come out to confirm that she will not strip for Hollywood. “I would never strip for any industry, this is absoloutely silly comments coming from press and media and mostly, it upsets me and my fans, I’m an actress and everyone in this industry is doing what the role requires, I will act according to my role needed but this doesn’t mean I forget my values’’ said Veena Malik.
Veena who is looking forward to the release of her debut item song Channo in Nitin Manmohan’s Gali Gali Chor Hai which hits TV promos in the next few days, is looking forward to 2012 and making her mark in Bollywood. “I have three films out this year, plus Swayamvar and other projects. I have had many offers from international publications which require a bold shoot which we have refused. I have my principles in work and do that which suits my personality and style.’’
The press statement goes on to say that Veena will also be going to Pakistan to see her family and has made amends with her father. “Every father has the right to tell their child off if they think they are wrong, my father is no different but now my dad has cooled down and we are totally fine, I’ll be seeing them all in a few weeks, which I am excited about.’’
Clearly Hollywood’s loss was FHM’s gain, don’t you think?
