Neil Nitin Mukesh is one talented guy. He surprised everyone with a pathbreaking performance in his very first film, Johnny Gaddar and followed it up with critical acclaim for his roles in Jail and New York. His latest flick, Players, has Neil in a negative role for the first time ever. And boy, does he pull it off! He’s been getting rave reviews for the film everywhere and even Amitabh Bachchan and Ram Gopal Varma have appreciated his newest avatar.
So today when the actor turns 30, he can look back at a rewarding year and look forward to some seriously cool projects. For starters, he is finally going to showcase his singing talent (being the Grandson of Mukesh, he has inherited the genes in that department) and that’s something we’re going to watch out for.
Also, there’s Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 2 and Prerna Wadhwa’s Pal. 2012 sure looks like it has a lot of rewarding projects for Neil, and though he hasn’t made any special plans for his big day yet, challenging roles in blockbuster movies are the best birthday present an actor could ask for.
