Turning 30 last year, it has not been easy coming to terms with what we call ”mid-life crisis”. It seems like I have lived so long and don’t know where life is headed to. Body and mind seem to not sync up.
I really need a realm of freshness and change to spark up and add some spice to my life and refill it with renewed joy.

  7. Reema Venkat Says:

    Hi Miss Malini,

My friends think that i am deliberately against fashion but they are wrong, im just very picky about my style and i stick by it. Because of which i havent updated my wardrobe in over 3 years. Im one of those never-compromise-on-comfort-unless-in-the-mood-to kinds. I believe that if you are comfortable then you can be yourself completely. I can count the number of clothes i have bought last year on my hands. Its depressing for me. I would love to shop and prove them wrong. But more than anything else…i would love to shop and get all the clothes i have been eyeing but havent been able to afford without feeling incredibly guilty.
I absolutely love your blog. You da WO-MAN!!

    Kudos for everything!!

  8. Zenani Says:

There is everything wrong with my wardrobe..
    1. Since I cut n streaked my hair, I dont feel like the clothes I have is my style anymore (weird), so I want new stuff..
    2. I own waaaay too much black..seriously, like 90%! I know black is classic n never goes out of fashion..but seriously im this close to being goth!i need some color..i dont own anything in pastel shades.
    3. My friends “borrow” clothes n conveniently forget to return them.
    4. Ahem..iv put on a *cough* lil weight *cough* :D
    5. I dont own anything this fancy.
    6. my husband is constantly telling me how i have so much stuff, so to give some away…n now im left with…well, very little :P
    7. Its from “the dressing room”..duh :)

  9. Ekta Medh Says:

  10. Kamal Says:

I’d like to gift the voucher to my daughter on Valentines as she is still wearing the clothes i used to wear before my wedding which is almost 30 yrs old now!!! & i know old fashions are back but the state of those closes are now almost not wearable but she refuses to let me donate them to charity or throw them out as shes very fond of the fit, designs etc. I’m hoping this would be incentive enough for her to get a new makeover wardrobe so she can look pretty & find a suitable boy as shes of marriageable age and with her current wardrobe no one will approach!!!

  11. Pallavi Pande Says:

need a wardrobe overhaul desperately… whenevr i clean my wardrobe & i organise it in such a way tht those clothes which needs to be rejected r out of my sight… this works up for some tym…. but latr on m in those “out of my sight clothes” again.. so if i go for a wardrobe overhaul, i’ll immediately donate those “out of sight” clothes, so tht all fresh material comes in :)

  12. Priyanka Says:

    Hi Miss Malini,

I absolutely love these contests.. muah for getting these opportunities for shopoholics like me :D

WHY DO I NEED A NEW WARDROBE?
New Job. New circle of people. And old clothes.. erm they don’t make sense right? I think I could do with some lovely designer wear. I am particularly eying the awesome looking range by Mayank & Shraddha

    WHY THIS RANGE?
I love earthy shades. And totally love tussars, raw silk and the feeling for traditional silk on my skin in earthy shades. What I love is this range reinvents the traditional silk with a modern twist. Look at that cream silk jacket with that smart black dress. I could die to have it in my wardrobe. Its stylish. Its dressy. Its suave. Plus I could wear the jacket with outer stuff as well. Or even wear it as a blouse. Its edgy and yet classy. Whether its an office party or a dressy dinner, I think this piece can totally work. I absolutely love it! <3

Do you hear me ? :D

  13. Amit Bhambri Says:

Because I feel like a cracker – look like a damp squib!

  24. shreya Says:

Why do I need a wardrobe refreshed
Everytime I open my closet, this is the chain of thoughts that goes through my head,
Shit I have no clothes, black, white grey, maybe I have no clothes that’s why I don’t go out, maybe I should go out more, sigh maybe I don’t have a guy that’s why I don’t go out, but really do I need a guy to look good, but maybe I don’t go to the gym that’s why I don’t lose weight and that’s why I don’t feel good, so ya maybe I should go to gym, cut to— ok lets go to gym first—cut to dirty house tshirt and tracks end up sitting at home. Why do I need to change my closet because I need to be saved from my vegetating self in tracks and I could really do with some colour in my life!

  25. Ranjana Says:

I want to win this for my first valentine – my daughter. She had heard of this day in school in her second standard and she came home and tied a red ribbon on my wrist saying ” Mumma you are my valentine.” She is a valentine baby so it’s also her birthday on valentine’s day. She is going to get married soon and I thought this will make a perfect valentines day/ birthday gift for her before marriage. She is a basic dresser, her wardrobe is very plain and tomboyish (full of t shirts and denims). It will be nice to see her in these lovely designer dresses for a change. I know she will never go on her own and buy such beautiful dresses, this shopping spree will be the motivational factor. As far as valentine goes, valentine is anybody you love, and my daughter is my valentine gift and this would be my gift to my gift.

  26. Nitisha Choudhary Says:

A wardrobe refresh, that too on a valentine, that too a gifted one, definitely seems to be a great idea. A craving has precipitated into frenzy. A wardrobe refresh is an ego trip. Give me a wardrobe revamp and I promise not to bitch till the season wardrobe lasts.
Hues as bright as above, another world I need to tear my eye contact. Did I say this gives a high and of course to those who move along, ‘m I some messenger like dove ;) ;)

  27. Malar Says:

I gather that this contest is only for Mumbai residents, right ?

  28. Prarthna Says:

Recently I (a punjabi) got married into a Tamilian family and so in order to blend in their culture and to make my sweetheart mom-in-law happy :)I spent all my wedding shopping savings towards buying simple and traditional trousseau as per her taste. Now to make my husband and myself happy, I really really need a wardrobe change (even more so coz we are soon moving to USA)and The Dressing Room ensemble has some great jaw-dopping stuff with a resortwear feel.

  29. Sunny Sanctis Says:

    Hi Malini,

I need to win this contest for my girlfriend. I want to buy these hot dresses for her,so I stop leching at other hot women :P Also, I just got a very tiny bonus and small increment in salary. My girlfriend is very high maintenance and I will have to take her to some fancy place for Valentines. SO at least by winning this, I don’t need to worry about the gifts. My gfrd like any other girl, loves to buy clothes..I’m sure she’ll be extremely happy to get these designer wear!

  30. Raksha Says:

Getting married in April with my boyfrnd…before marriage i want to give him surprise in this V’day/B’day (Both r in same Day 14th Feb)by wearing a beautiful dress as he always told me ” Ki mai jhaali(Pagal) dekhti hu :)Sexy Nahi :(“.

  32. Vaneeta Says:

    Hey Malini

I think I need a wardrobe addition, as its my birthday month, and my cruel boss is planning to make deductions in my salary for reasons I cant even comprehend. I was planning to get a designer to do me a dress on EMI’s lol..But if you please please make me win this thing, I would be the happiest prettiest 28 turning 29 on my birthday. Also, the dresses are lovely, and a few of them have caught my undivided dedicated attention ;) I would love to flaunt them and take good care of them :)
Can I take the liberty of saying thank you in advance :D ;)

  33. Neha Says:

    Hey miss Malini,
I just renovated my house, part of which involved redoing my own room which included a brand new cupboard for me that I designed to suit my requirements. While doing so I also cleared my closet removing items I nolonger need or fit into and donated the same. The rest of my clothes badly need an update to go with my new wardrobe. Also I have just started working so hoped that a whole new closet full of clothes would make sure I didn’t end up looking like a teenager fresh into college( I own mostly a ton or more of t-shirts). Plus a new wardrobe might finally be the push I need to start losing some serious amount of weight :p cheers

  34. Apurva Says:

    Hi,
When I was a kid i use to think what older girls are upto with fashion, endless shopping and make up.I thought it to be a waste of time and money. And found the girls rather brainless.

But as I have grown into a girl myself I have realized what it is to be a REAL girl.
You believe yourself to be the prettiest girl on the black. And always follow the quotes of Audrey Hepburn “Happy girls are the prettiest”
You believe to be the style diva and know the bible of Fashion.
Your Shopping never ends.EVERY OCCASION IS A REASON TO SHOP!!

Since you MISS MALINI are getting married yourself (psst. congrats ^_^) you might be doing all the rounds of Shopping since months, and still are not sure if you have enough. (giggles) Their is more excitement of what you will wear on what ceremony. You do every bit to look like a diva….(you sure do ;) )

For me it is a newly explored side of me.I have realized what a true girl is all about. To look beautiful in her very sense, and stay happy.

Why I would like to win this?
Because as i said before NO SHOPPING IS ENOUGH! For me this will be like going to Disney Land (if I would have been a kid)
Going to such a prestigious store will be a huge thing for me, since I still have not been a successful earner to go to the likes of even Zara and Asos. I am still a FLEA MARKET QUEEN :p

This will really place a crown to my wardrobe.

So please crown my wardrobe Malini and help me come a bit closer to being a diva myself, just like the way you are :D

  35. fenesy nazareth Says:

  41. Jaya Says:

  42. rajesh chandra Says:

Ours its a love marriage. Before marriage wen i was in love with her I had promised her that i will try to fulfill her all the wishes and she will live as a queen if she will marry me. I know her all the hobbies likes ans dislikes wheneer she is very fornd of dresses jewelery and make up. This feb its my birthday and in march its our anniversary i want miss malini to help me to fulfill my promise which i did to her before marriage by gifting me this “free shopping “. I want to make her feel like queen and want to fulfill her desire of purchasing so many dresses. I want to make this anniversary very special one.

Her wish of jewellwery and make up will be fulfilled by me and for her craze of dresses i want miss malini’s help.

  44. Nidhi S Says:

I need a wardrobe refresh because a new wardrobe will enhance my beauty. Since it will be new, I’ll look different. I too want to doll-up in all those designer wears that I see the celebs wearing. I may not have any special occasion or a special reason to give you as to why you should choose me for the goodies but I surely, like every other girl want all these beautiful clothes and I want to look and feel gorgeous about myself. Specially when your still not working full-time, when you know you don’t have a huge budget to spend on such beautiful clothes and when you dream of having them on you all the time despite the reality being different.. :| I want to make myself happy and what better way then getting it as a goodie..:D

Please please pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee if you have ever felt this way then pleaaseeeeeeeeeeee give me this prize….. :)
