They say diamonds are a girls best friend. I say bling are a girls best high. When life feels low and down, when u feel an air of blue around, its the shiny lil things that bring in the positive and live energy to life.
February 6th, 2012 at 12:08 pm
I bling brighten up my day by loudly singing, its just another manic monday with my carpool mates… is fun and viola all monday blues vanish!

Bling brings a glow on any girls phase. Since childhood we sweet girls get attracted to things which bling whether its bling in necklace or d bling in the eyes of our prince charming for us. When I m down feeling low and wen I luk into mirror a beatiful necklace brings a spark into my eyes and restores my energy levels and I say “come on bring it on… I M READY FOR EVERYTHNG”:)
February 6th, 2012 at 12:15 pm
I was never a fan of wearing jewellery… A simple pair of shiny Swarovski studs and a nice watch is what has mostly completed my jeans and tees look! But i recently bought myself a diamond ring and fell in love with it as soon as i wore it the first time! Its surprising how it has been lifting up my spirits since i am wearing it!!!I love flashing it!!
It really feels (and looks) GOOD! True story :)

February 6th, 2012 at 12:17 pm
How does bling brighten my day..? Well, to put it mildly – bling is what makes my day! Haha!
One of the first things I think about after waking up, besides “what will I eat for breakfast” is – “what all will I wear today – meaning dress, makeup, bling”.
Bling hai to main hoon ..lol.
February 6th, 2012 at 12:18 pm
Well it doesn brighten my day, but im a hundred percent sure that it will brighten my Valentines Day.. Im gonna keep my fingers crossed!

Hi Miss Malini,
Because of the constant travelling through trains and rickshaws in the city, I am not able to stay trend and fashion friendly all the time! Add to it, the crazy weather that doesn’t let me wear my boots or heels. The one thing I look forward to while going to work is wearing that pendant that goes with my corporate wear or those earrings that match my Indian wear. That never goes on and I don’t have to worry about it being appropriate, trendy or voguish, because bling is always in. That brightens my day almost immediately. In this fast paced city, my bling box is here to stay!
Happy Valentine’s Day!

Bling easily brightens up anything. You know, diamonds are a girls’ best friend, so a small diamond earring, or ring or pendant gives SUCH a gooooood ‘feel-good-factor’ that elevates the mood at once….
February 6th, 2012 at 12:24 pm
i have started to hate my accessory collection these days cause nono of them excites me anymore but i have my 1 gold chain with a heart pendant that i wear to add a little spark to my outfit and plus so that all the aunties out there dont complain about me being so simple with out jewellery!
February 6th, 2012 at 12:26 pm
Bling is my secret talisman that gives me the strength to fight when the going gets tough, but always with a smile. It brightens my day by reminding me that beauty and strength go hand in hand.
February 6th, 2012 at 12:28 pm
I love bling in every possible way. In clothes, in accessories. Come and check my wardrobe and you will see. I am 66 and I think sometimes people wonder whats this “old” woman thinking wearing stuff like this. But who cares ???? I wear bling as it lends a sparkle to our lives. It makes me feel bright and shiny and what a fantastic way to add some more to my collection by winning this beautiful “sparkler”
February 6th, 2012 at 12:33 pm
I guess I am at the wrong place, but a man has to try when his daughter begs and whines and re-routes him somewhere to win something for her.
As I held my tiny daughter in my arms 24 years ago, I saw her reaching out her arms for her mother. Dejected, I just didn’t know what was I doing wrong. Was I spending too less time with her? Was I out too often? And then my wife laughed and gave me the answer, my precious princess was reaching out for her diamond pendant! And there has been no looking back since. We share the closest bond ever, but nothing lights up my doe’s eyes than a super blingy piece of jewelery. Her most priced possession has been my mother’s diamond nose ring that she got converted in a ring. Today, as I get ready to marry her off, I see her smiling politely and thanking for the gold jewelery we have bought for her, but I see her truly light up and dance in ecstatic joy when there’s “bling” (even for costume jewelery pieces). And the pride I feel looking at my gorgeous doe all grown up and graceful yet ready to reach up to grab the bling just makes me so warm inside.. It’s like no matter how bigger she gets or how far she has to go, she’s still my little darling daughter doll inside and will always remain so.. Rare and precious..

My boyfriend and I met as srangers in Goa, and eventually fell in love. The only problem? We live on different continents! The first time we met, after we started seeing each other was in Goa. He took me back to the place we first met, and slipped a ring on my finger with our names engraved in it. He promised to replace it with a bling-ier engagement ring soon!
So every time I miss him, or I’m mad at him, or just happen to look at the ring, the little piece of bling reminds me of our story and puts a big smile on my face.
February 6th, 2012 at 12:46 pm
Well I love blings coz bling add that party kinda look even on the simplest clothes. U dont need to dress jazzy. A simple dress with a bling adds to the glamour. I always wear a bling it gives this shiny bling bling look.

When I’m down, I think bling!I love the sound of it, the mere whisper of the word. Its heavenly (sighs!). It transports me to those romantic novels of yore, where the TDH hero slips in a huge rock on the ring finger of the pretty girl-next-door heroine! To get my daily boost, all I have to do is spend time admiring the display at Tiffany’s like Hepburn :-). I have managed to scrimp and buy one lovely piece of bling and whenever things are bad and I am depressed, all I need to do is slowly slide it out of its velvet box, feel its smoothness between my fingers, wear it and admire myself in the mirror-and bang, my faith in myself & the world is restored!
February 6th, 2012 at 1:00 pm
Hi Miss. Malini,
How You Doing?
I love blings because it makes you look BEAUTIFUL. Diamonds are meant for women. Its makes you look elegant and extremely gorgeous.. i love bling because that was the first gift from my boyfriend to me.. he used to save his salary just to buy me that.. Its not about the gift.. but its about the effort he took just to get it for me..! :)
February 6th, 2012 at 1:09 pm
Bling brightens me up anyday….they shine and dance when I loudly sing, they leave their sparkle on the person whom I meet…be it just another manic monday with my carpool mates… is fun and viola all monday blues vanish!

There is nothing like “BLING” which adds sparkle to brighten up my mood and day and transforms my outfit by enhancing my personality.
February 6th, 2012 at 1:56 pm
HI Malini,
Bling can just brighten up your day and can get that same shine on your face when u are wearing it and lifts up our mood when u are low…. It makes u smile when u wearing a tiniest of stone also as it reflects your personality and looks very sophisticated … Let the occasion b big or small it never makes u look overdone to yourself and gives fully justice whatever u are wearing let if b casual or formal … Let it b day or evening … An whenever we wearing a bling people may notice ur clothes or no but they do notice that shiny star in ur ears , neck or fingers :)))) xoxo
February 6th, 2012 at 2:05 pm
Awwwwww Malini!!1 U gotta b the new definition of a Girl’s bestest Companion who surely knows how to make them happy!!!
Bling is surely what I need to get the sparkling performance back in my work.. whenever I have a low day or a bad day I just take out my Grandma’s oldie goldie Ring with a tinge of white gold in it which still has the Bling that can carry me far off to High level remembering her as the lady who always smiled and fulfilled all her responsibilities :).. love ya dadi and your Bling will always be with me!!:)
February 6th, 2012 at 2:06 pm
My attachment to bling is from the time I was a very young girl. Whenever I saw my mother wearing her patent diamond earings, I used to wish I’d get those one day. I related those diamonds to the sparkling stars in the sky which I loved seeing from my bedroom window. However mom never allowed me to try those on cause of my careless nature. I remember removing them from the cupboard locker and trying them on while mom went out for grocery(every morning sabzi mandi) and quitely put them back as soon as I hear her arriving everyday. Finally I got my pair of bling two years back, when I got married. My mom gifted me those very diamond studed petal earings that I had admired since childhood. I still wear them to office everyday. Therz nothing better than bling to cheer up a dull day, moreover i dont wait for dull days to put up my bling. Everyday has to be special and these lovely diamonds make my each day a special day!!! I just love them!!

These bling brightens my day because they uplift my mood and make me feel Dazzling like a Star.
February 6th, 2012 at 4:39 pm
Bling to me symbolises freshness, positivity and a ray of hope..In today’s robotic existence when Im expected to juggle and equally manage my home and corporate role, an item of bling acts like a perfect dose that infuses the much needed peppyness and zing to my mood and appearance..
and a small item of bling also does the trick..so as they say..”most beautiful things do come in small packages”..
February 6th, 2012 at 4:55 pm
I am a relatively new entrant to this category. I think blings make me feel sophisticated and feminine. In a place like Delhi, people of judge you by what you wear and my blings make me feel at ease on all occasions.
February 6th, 2012 at 5:30 pm
Bling is…well, BLING!!…Those pretty little diamond studs – or The Stylish Swarovski Brooches on Sarees…everything and anything with bling jazzes up ones personality.
The other day, one of my friends gifted me the Swarovski Crystal Champagne Flute Set for my Housewarming Party. And they look absolutely gorgeous in our Bar – just beautiful. And now, Valentine’s Day being nearer, I can’t wait to see how much ‘Bling’ there is going to be in store for me!!….Keeping my fingers crossed..xoxoxo

After a long and tiring day at work I usually battle the ever worsening traffic to reach haven. Haven is where the queen of my castle is waiting to welcome me with her million dollar smile and her tender embrace. My princess, my sweetheart is the one who is standing at the end of that tunnel to brighten up my dull and hectic day. ‘She’ is my priceless treasure, ‘She’ is my most precious Bling!
February 6th, 2012 at 5:37 pm
I don’t know about my day…but it definitely brightens my wife’s day up! She tends to spend hours settling her collection and polishing it and much more…something that always brings a smile to her face :) And i’m sure she will look quite awesome with a blingy platinum necklace coupled with a cute dress i would buy her for valentines :)
February 6th, 2012 at 5:52 pm

Around 60 long years back, Marlyn Monroe danced to the tune of “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”. Times have passed and how we define love has changed, but the bling still gets that sparkle in a woman’s eye..It shows how you feel today..n surely makes you feel better.. its the twinkle in ur baby’s eyes, the smile on ur partners lips, the appreciation in ur boss’s mail, the satisfaction on ur mum face n the pride in ur dad’s heart.. It surely is the beauty that you see in the mirror every morning..It means the confidence that makes my day, n rules my life..whether i wear it on my body or on my face, it completes my world!!!
February 6th, 2012 at 8:21 pm
I feel all girls are born with an instinct for bling….
Bling enhances the confidence of a woman, makes her beautiful and graceful. It brings her hope, adds a twinkle to her eyes and gives her the power of dreams!
When I am down and feel real low, I don my bling to add a little glow,
it gives me hope and power to cope,
it adds sparkles to my eyes and without alcohol gives me the highs,
Adding oodles of confidence and tons of grace,
with such awesome platinum jewellery, now who needs a pretty face???
(Platinum Jewellery brings out the best in every woman…see it brought out the poet in me ;-) )

Hey Malz,
we’ve all heard the phase “diamonds are a girls best friend“ that couldn’t be any more true. Adding a bling to your everyday wear or even on them special occasions can be the “sone pe suhaga” !For my everyday wear, a bling is a MUST! be it earings or a nice necklace, but i wouldn’t leave the house without it. abit like you wouldn’t leave the house without putting concealer on.Bling not only compliments the clothes, but i believe it also compliments one’s personality! I couldn’t go without a bling for a day! It surely is my best friend! <3 ^_~
February 6th, 2012 at 8:47 pm
all my bling(jewellery;))is gifted to me by my parents..wearing those jewels is my way of connecting with them everyday inspite of the distance..every single piece has a story behind it as they have been hand picked by my mom from various places she lived at while my dad was serving in the army..it brings me back to my happy self from the lowest of lows..i hope to do the same for my 5 month old daughter Ruhaani through these heirlooms..thanx
February 6th, 2012 at 9:32 pm
As the song says “DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER”…..Bling brightens every moment of my life. When I am sad I just flip through the catalogues of bling, just imagine myself wearing them, and ofcourse wish of gifting my mother some bling from my earned money some day.
When I am having a “BORING DRESS DAY” I just make it lively by adding a pair of ear bling, or a cocktail ring, or maybe a statement neck piece.
When I am planning to go attend a wedding party, I jazz up my Indian outfit with tadka of Indian bling, a maang tikka or jhumkas.
The glow you get when the blings makes your face shine is the best feeling in the world ;)
February 6th, 2012 at 10:52 pm
BLING adds sparkle and zing to my life…it mkes me feel a million bucks!
however small.. be it a pendant or a ring
it adds a touch of magic to me & a special one to valentines day bling
February 6th, 2012 at 10:52 pm
wearing BLING brightens my day just like polishing my soul from deep inside n making its luster appear on my face. Its that piece of craftsmanship that inspires me to shine brighter even under pressure, as its own formation from a coal to a diamond. When i’ve the reason to be inspired, then my days n my entire life is naturally brightened.
February 7th, 2012 at 12:21 am

I love my timy studs – my first diamonds – which I bought with after saving for a year in my first job. It gives me a big high and a huge boost of confidence whenever their twinkle catches my eye in the mirror.
February 7th, 2012 at 12:35 am
Bling makes my day, my week, my month and even my yeeeeeeeeear! (To borrow from the ‘Friends’ song) How you ask? I buy bling for my wife and she is super happy with me!!! The easiest way to get to a woman’s heart; the success mantra of marriage!! Happy Diamonds, happy wife!
And wouldn’t she love this prize if I won it for her!!!!
February 7th, 2012 at 12:35 am
last year my boyfriend pretended to forget our anniversery and was behaving as if it was a normal day. then when i almost started crying he bought out a beautiful gold chain and put it around my neck. it truley made my day shine. bling has the power to change a frown to a smile!

Dogs are a man’s best friend. Diamonds are a woman’s best friends. See who the smarter sex is? Now did that brighten you up?
February 7th, 2012 at 12:45 am
Blingy jewellery are the only loyal things that fit me no matter what size I am – I may look like a damp squib but with diamonds on – I feel like a cracker – everytime!
February 7th, 2012 at 10:32 am
BLING BLING BLING.,its like a necessity…with 1 stuning piece ur good to go…i always like to make a statement wearing a single piece of jewellery as it draws attention of all…irrespectv of a bad hair day, dress day or foot wear day…bling corrects it all..it brings sparkle to me and makes me an apple of everyones eye..!Feeling low it will brighten u up,feeling high it will raise u to a new level, feeling vulnerable it will always give a healing touch, feeling angry it will just cool u..Bling in any form diamonds, platinium, gold., silver gemstones or even plain sterling silver is worthy of being owned.Making a women complete is that what bling does..

hey Ms. MAlini,
Fashion changes like seasons, but bling is always in. being from a total marathi household means i have to start collecting wedding jewellery the moment i turn 21 ! as much as yellow metal turns me off, the purchase is not really optional. so i went out, mum in tow and bought some gold. went to a wedding looked all blingy and then everyone who mattered wore diamonds! how unfair is life? both the pendents are lovely and are the perfect statement to any saree/suit ! what’s more diamonds look brilliant on western wear! platinum tops my lust-list!
P.s I love the first one!
February 7th, 2012 at 12:50 pm
Not much of a bling person but it does liven up my day always. Be it in the form of the diamond & platinum ring that I don on my ring finger or the one that I gifted my younger sister after she topped her board exam.
Well I bought the diamond & platinum ring after getting my first paycheck. So its always special and gives me a high whenever I’m down.
The other bling factor happens to help incase of sibling rivalry. A diamond ring that I gifted my sister. The moment we bitch or fight, a look at the ring and everything is forgotten. She just loves it a lot..blame it on the ‘bling bond’ we share!
February 7th, 2012 at 1:24 pm
Bling is something which is forever In
it can brighten any wardrobe, and i love bling for letting me glow on the soberest of days and making me me feel alive !
a woman should be two things – classy and fabulous and bling impart both these qualities to a woman! :)) Also bling is my prime fashion requisite to jazz up all my boring outfits and match the sparkle of my eyes ! always !
shiny and bring, smile smile oh blinged up is such a lovely sight
February 7th, 2012 at 2:25 pm
The light in Bling reminds me of the light that exists within me. So, whenever I am down, a shiny tiny bit, or a huge blingy no. is like my little secret to feel good. I look at it and I know that there is no one quite like me, that the shine is actually a reflection of me, that there is no hiding or covering up a treasure. It is a special, feel-good feeling, the likes of which none can match. Bling Brightens my day by connecting me with myself, by restoring my faith in world…
February 7th, 2012 at 2:38 pm
Bling adds an instant dose of style into anything just too simple. The sparkle and shine brightens even the most boring and dull outfits. A pretty sparkly piece like this can be paired with any outfit and make a statement and set yourself apart from everybody around you without being too dressed up. :)
February 7th, 2012 at 2:39 pm
There is nothing like a classy piece of jewellery to rev up your otherwise dull wardrobe. I am a middle class 50+ housewife, I do dress up when I go to parties but most of the time I go to extemely boring and drab places like the grocery store or the vegetable market where I need to dress accordingly. Adding a little jewellery(bling)like a pendant or earrings even when I go to these mundane places transforms my mood and appearance considerably. They make me feel good from inside. I have loved bling( imitation and real both) right from childhood for reasons unknown to me yet and I have passed on the bling thing DNA to my daughter as well whose face brightens up instantly at the sight of anything shiny. It just adds a sparkle to an otherwise drab get up. All your contests and articles are superb Miss Malini. I hope to win at least one of the contests.

I love and adore bling, and bling brightens my day by..
Bling adds shine to my eyes,
Bling adds smiles to my soul,
Bling adds more and more strength to my spirit,
Bling adds positivity to my attitude,
Bling adds softness to my nature,
Bling adds creativity to my imagination,
Bling adds distant vision to my thoughts,
Bling adds style to my personality,
Bling adds glow to my looks,
Bling adds confidence in my gestures,
Bling makes me feel princess of my parents..
Bling makes me feel queen of my dream man..My king..
February 7th, 2012 at 2:41 pm
when things dont go well and I need a piece of strentgh, bling comes handy. It brightens not only my day but my soul and I feel proud of myself for owning a picece of the most exquisite and bful jewellery. It gives me immense happiness that I have some legacy to pass on to my daughter though she still loves to wear it which doubles the brightness of bling.. :) girls will be girls at the age of 2 also….
February 7th, 2012 at 2:49 pm
Oh here comes my chance to get an awesome gift for my wife on v day. She has always been complaining that I dont gift her often…you know girls ;)..but this time she is right.. I am sure bling will brighten her day and cheer her up as she all tired after taking care of job, home and my 3 year daughter.. only Bling which is superbly designed and classy can rejuvenate her and make her happy. Its like getting a spa treatment ;), a very costly one :)…
February 7th, 2012 at 2:52 pm
My client group consists of aggressive bankers some of who think that the sun shines out of their you-know-where! I need my bling to counter their belief and outshine them :)
February 7th, 2012 at 2:52 pm
bling can transform even the most drab and dreary outfit into an eye catching and chic one. Imagine what the right piece can do for those fabulous outfits hanging in my wardrobe.it makes me feel renewed and refreshed. I just love the rush of spotting a new stunning sparkly ring or a prettyful necklace catching my eye & eventually after much “umming” & “aaaaahing” taking the inevitable plunge & making said piece of jewellery mine!
February 7th, 2012 at 2:59 pm
it’s cool that all like the bling. nobody want to hear or buy diamond that came at the cost of a person’s life. actually i feel the same way about aninmals that’s why i’m a vegetarian. nevertheless, there is something about a shiny diamond ring that really gets a girls attention…

I’m all boy and I love bling; shiny wheels on my car, shiny ipod, shiny sunglasses that make me look menacing. Bling Bling.

Every time I think of “bling” or put on the only real piece of diamond jewelery I own (a pair of danglers) Jay Sean’s lyrics ‘All the watches and the rings and all them shiny things means nothing if I ain’t got you’ comes to my mind. It sounds funny, but I usually wear this blingy pair on days when I feel like singing this song at the top of my voice.
The radiance from the earrings against the morning sunlight with the towel dried hair and light lip gloss really lights up a dull day at work. Since it was the first “blingy jewelery” bought by me after lusting for it outside the store for 4 months, wearing it makes the day even more special because I feel more confident and strong from within. Its like getting geared to tell the day to “BLING IT ON!” ;)
Have a blingy day Sue and Malini!!
P.S: Each time the I watch this TVC, I go all awwww!!!

When the bling reflects back from the mirror on my Face…it brings the sunshine out of my smile!
February 7th, 2012 at 3:47 pm
Earlier were days when girls used to love singing the song “Mere Haathon Mein 9 9 choodiya re”…..Today in this busy life also girls still love getting ready and looking their best…This is when the Bling comes into the picture…..Even in a hurry just add a pendant or dangling earrings with a dash of bling and you turn out to be a show stopper where ever you are
February 7th, 2012 at 4:32 pm
A little bit of bling is all it takes to make us happy shiny people! :D
February 7th, 2012 at 10:07 pm
Bling makes the whole world a little bit brighter. A couple of diamonds here and there sure can make a difference. Who said a girls best friend is diamonds, men love them too!
February 8th, 2012 at 12:43 am
You know that rainbow colored light that you get when the sunshine reflects off a crystal?? i love it when that happens to me…the sun might be reflecting off a piece of glass of my jhola bag, maybe my blingy top, my ring…and whenever you move, the light moves along with you on the wall and ceiling…i can keep playing with that light for ages….pure ecstasy!!

Bling specially a diamond is a sign of promise. It’s sparkling shine inspires you to shine out of the crowd, be different from the rest and make it large for yourself. Every time i look at diamonds they pump in a different kind of energy in me to do better and buy the biggest possible princess cut for my sweethrt at our engagement. We are in long distance(14 more months to go) and the only cause for it are my higher studies, which promises us better future. We are also celebrating our 2nd year anniversary of being together this 21st. I am keeping my fingers crossed to win this Awesome diamond studded platinum pendant for my angel. Nothing can be a better gift than this.

My everyday work wardrobe is pretty monotonous even boring. Everyday, I like to infuse something to it and I do that by choosing a piece of jewellery – earrings paired with a nice necklace. It is the best part about getting ready for me. My husband loves buying me jewellery and I have a nice and unique collection of earrings and necklaces (sadly nothing in platinum as yet).
My favourite piece of bling which I do not go without is my solitare wedding ring, set in white gold (somehow the yellow metal just did not cut it for him or me).
Love bling, live with it, cant do without it!
February 8th, 2012 at 12:02 pm
i NEVER leave home without my earrings, like EVER,and i really love pearls! as for diamonds, the one piece of bling that brightens my day are these diamond earrings that were my grandmother’s and which she passed down to me. i always wear them for important occasions, like graduation,a big wedding…i feel like she’s with me when i’m wearing them. they’re not too big,but i will definitely wear them on my wedding day too,if i ever get married.:)
February 8th, 2012 at 12:23 pm
Bling can brighten my day by wearing different dresses with fashionable accessories like bracelets, earrings, pendants!!!!
February 8th, 2012 at 1:14 pm
Love Bling and just love to wear it with white Gold or Platinum….The sparkles in it says you are worth it..your life deserves all the sparkling moments. The beauty of it adds to my beauty and says you are the most desirable woman on the earth. The shine makes me shine and feel happy from within. it adds bliss to my life. The perfect finish tells me that you are perfect in all ways. The feeling of incompleteness is when i am not wearing any of those..i feel the addiction to remain a perfect lady within me..therefore i love to wear Bling and add millions of smiles, compliments, warmth and love to my life. Bling is definitely my companion, we share all our happy moments together :)
February 8th, 2012 at 2:33 pm
my day brightens when i talk to my daughter who recently got married and i miss her a lot,i call her just to listen her cheerful and happy voice and it makes my day just to know that she is happy and loving every bit of the new life. i love her and her happiness is the ultimate source of mine too, seeing your daughter growing up and then suddenly she is away from you, what more a mother want…just wishing all daughters a beautiful and a bright platinum life!!

I chose to work for a non profit and mostly feel out of place with the friends working in the corporate sector (not that they have left me out but working culture changes so much in a person) Maybe a little bling would help me build my confidence to be a part of the group again where I had truly belonged :D
February 8th, 2012 at 2:51 pm
It brightens my day so much that I literally go blind after that – aaaaaah ! Did I crack it too hard ???
February 8th, 2012 at 2:57 pm

February 8th, 2012 at 2:58 pm

February 8th, 2012 at 3:29 pm
Platinum is sheer pleasure and when it blings, it gives me happiness. More over it makes those bimbos jealous and that makes my day! when their jaw drops down asking, “where did u buy this from?” aah! there comes my smile!;)
(laughing wicked) hahahaha
February 8th, 2012 at 3:39 pm
It brightens my day because it’s a constant reminder of how rare, unique and beautiful I am.
February 8th, 2012 at 4:33 pm
…it is the bling of a beautiful jewel that illumines my heart and when my hubby wonders about the reason behind d glow on my face…i coyly tell him ~ ” it is your love ” ;)

“Men grow cold as girls grow old
And we all lose our charms in the end
But square cut, or pear shaped
These rocks won’t lose their shape
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”
~True Story.
February 8th, 2012 at 6:17 pm
A bling does wonders for me.. it gives me immense confidence to possess one and then, it attracts my spouse a lot towards me :) – That would be a “2-in-1 priceless possession” :)
February 8th, 2012 at 6:46 pm
Bling make me a complete women. It’s a jewellery which is very dear to my heart.
February 8th, 2012 at 7:08 pm
Hi Miss Malini! To me Bling can make the simplest of simple outfit stand out from the crowd. It’s like the LBD of all accessories. It can instantly transform a boring workday look to an evening glam look in an instant (works quicker than instant noodles, I tell you). And who doesn’t remember hovering around mum as a kid when she’d get ready, just so you could wear her necklace for a minute or two. Imagine now all grown up my girl does exactly the same! Talk of history repeating itself! Each piece of jewellery has a story behind it and what happiness one can get at merely looking at their ‘Rock of Love’ (wearing it 24×7, 365, for 25 years)is indescribable. In this way thus, bling brightens my day :)

Bling.. Bling.. Bling..
A romantic song that every heart wants to sing..

A cute piece of bling..whether a necklace or a ring..
it keeps me connected to my prince, without any string..
On just a glimpse of it,my heart sings..ding dong ding!!!!
Bling..Bling.. Bling..

Hi MissMalini team,
Bling is my kryptonite(w.r.t. Superman) as well as my dhoop (w.r.t. Jaadoo, koi mil gaya). In non geeky terms it is both my weakness and my strength. I’ve been a bling fanatic right from my birth. My mom says the first thing I held was her diamond solitaire pendant and she still cant forget the wide eyed look I had while analyzing it with my baby eyes. That incident has made me the laughing stock of the family right from birth – a (chain snatching) bling baby. My grandmother and mother are both heavy duty bling addicts though not of the jazzy sorts; they have more jewellery than clothes. They feel their ensemble is incomplete if they dont wear their earring studs and a pendant and even I feel the same. So you can say we have sort of a bling chromosome in our DNA. The dash of bling for me is like the final brush stroke on a painting(in terms of aesthetics) or the final payment from the client (in terms of happiness he he). It is something that gives a sense of completion to my attire and I feel uncomfortable without the sparkle. Bling for me is more than shiny rocks, it is a family trait. Thanks for running this contest!

The feel of bling on my skin brightens me with virtues every then and now :)
I could not ask for more than a b’ful piece of bling on V Day! so what if I am single! I do have a chance to win it here for myself, right?! :D xo
February 9th, 2012 at 1:51 am
Bling is like a silent spectator with me.
It sees whatever goes on in life with me. It smiles back when I am happy.
It is something that I hold on to whenever I am in a situation where no one is with me and gives me the light to reenergize myself.
Bling is my partner who shares each heartbeat with me.

I just wanna say this…
Just wanna say this…
They want to see,
That bling side for them to begin.
With a start for them that has no end.
And hoping their lives,
Will sparkle bright.
With a sheen seen…
From outer space at night.
They hope that bling side to blister and glow.
From angles that exposes,
Their studded gold teeth glimmering…
In a bold gold that shows.
That want that bling side to begin…
With goose bumps too,
That never end.
With expensive sneakers costng fortunes.
To brag likes fools…
Like selfish spoiled children do!
To then dress as fools.
Act rude with a crudeness.
With a flaunting of lewd attitudes.
That want that bling side to begin…
With goose bumps too.
To then dress as fools.
Act rude with a crudeness.
With a flaunting of lewd attitudes.
And killing any sense that may be left within them.
They want to see,
That bling side for them to begin.
With a start for them that has no end.
And hoping their lives,
Will sparkle bright.
With a sheen seen…
From outer space at night.
They want that bling side to begin…
With goose bumps too.
To then dress as fools.
Act rude with a crudeness.
With a flaunting of lewd attitudes.
And killing any sense that may be left within them.
To live,
Or not to have…
A future.
One that has firm roots.
And not be foolish losers.
To live,
Or not to have…
A future.
One that has firm roots.
And not be foolish losers.
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
To be just foolish losers.
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
To be just foolish losers.
The bling side,
To live!
The bling side,
To live!
The bling side,
To live!
To be just foolish losers….

Bling goes perfect with everything. Any day when one doesn’t feel like accessorizing, a piece of bling (earing, pendent or anklet) just does the magic. Any day when one’s feeling oh-yeah-awesome, bling flaunts it the best. Bling is perfect anyday anytime with every mood swing :)

The question is `How Does Bling Brighten Your Day’?
Shimmer n sparkle, as bright as a sun’s ray,
Could take away darkness from the gloomiest day!
Yes, to keep them, you have to pay,
but they’ll be your best friends and will always stay!
So celebrate the happiness or cure the bad day,
Flaunt the bling and have your way!!
February 10th, 2012 at 3:18 pm
Thoda hai thode ki zaroorat hai……….We women feel this way when it comes to bling. Some i have and some more i want coz i dont want to give my friends chance to say ” this is the same piece of jewelery u wore on nilima’s party also ” Noooooooooooooooo. So my day will be brightened when my friends will say ” sonia u never repeat ur jewelery must be having huge collection ” Woooooooooooooooooooooow.

How would it brighten up my day??!!! Are you kidding me? If I would have won this pendent it will be so hard to bring me back down-to-earth!!!! It’s all the same with the bling!!! For god’s sake I am girl!! Nobody could upset my love for bling…Its the universal truth and it stays that way!! Come on!! Everybody knows it…no matter how twisted one would try to explain it.
