MissMalini’s Valentine’s Day Goodies, Contest #6 – Tick, Tock, Timeless
What’s your all-time favourite romantic dialogue? Post your answer in the comments below and win a fab watch from Paris Hilton!
“That’s hot!” Yes, Paris was definitely talking about her blingy watches. And you have to admit, she’s right. We at team MissMalini are all about spreading the love this season; tell us the most romantic dialogue you’ve ever heard – it could be a famous celebrity catchphrase, a movie dialogue or something that your sweetheart told you, and you could win a fab P.H. watch!
These watches are high-fashion, high-function, and super stylish; just what the doctor prescribed to glam up your everyday wardrobe, right? Dripping in crystals, this must-want accessory is on everyone’s list. Bling, but not in-your-face, these watches are the perfect finishing touch to any ensemble. And I want one. Because “it’s huuuge”… (translation: super-cool in P.H.’s lingo).
My personal, gets-me-weak-in-the-knees, romantic dialogue? It has to be the one from Notting Hill, when Anna (Julia Roberts) says to William (Hugh Grant), “Don’t forget. I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her…” Hand me the tissues please.

Pride and Prejudice
Mr. Darcy: You must know… surely, you must know it was all for you. You are too generous to trifle with me. I believe you spoke with my aunt last night, and it has taught me to hope as I’d scarcely allowed myself before. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes have not changed, but one word from you will silence me forever. If, however, your feelings have changed, I will have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on.

This is the quote from the movie JUNO (2007) , When juno asks her dad wether he thinks that two people can stay together for good..
And this is what he answers..
” Look, in my opinion the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what-have-you. The right person is still going to think the sun shines out of your ass. That’s the kind of person that’s worth sticking with.”

it’s one of my favourite bible verses and i got an opportunity last year to do the reading in the church for my friend’s wedding. Was almost in tears when i finished reading it..plan to have this reading for my wedding later this year as well..it’s perfect and defines love.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.

So tricky and so amazing! So hurtful and so beautiful… I could go on and on about Love! I have 3 favorites when it comes to movie dialogues.
3: If you were a melody… I used only the good notes – Jack Black to Kate Winslet. -.-
2: “You… complete me.” by Tom Cruise *uff*
and my favorite one from ‘The Notebook”, if you are a fan of LOVE and haven’t seen this movie already, Go Go Go!
1: Yes… it wasn’t over, it still isn’t over.” by Ryan Gosling to when they fall in love all over again *SIGH* *SIGH*

you have got me all mushy mushy now…
My favorite romantic dialogue is not a dialogue really. As in, it is not spoken verbally. In Love Actually, on Christmas night, Mark goes to his best friend Peter’s house to see his wife Juliet, who Mark was also in love with. The dialogue goes:
Mark rings doorbell, Juliet opens door
[on sheets of poster board]
Mark: Say it’s Carol Singers
Mark: With any luck, by next year – I’ll be going out with one of these girls.
[shows pictures of beautiful supermodels]
Mark: But for now, let me say – Without hope or agenda – Just because it’s Christmas – And at Christmas you tell the truth – To me, you are perfect – And my wasted heart will love you – Until you look like this.
[picture of a mummy]
Mark: Merry Christmas.
[Mark walks away]
Juliet Runs out and kisses him. And Mark says “Enough. That’s Enough”

Most of the common dialogues have been already quoted, but if I were to pick one from a man’s point of view..a quote that made me go weak in my knees, that made me realise how equally vulnerable a man feels while giving his heart to the woman he loves.. It most definitely, would be this!
“…I’d ask you about love, you’d probably quote me a sonnet. But you’ve never looked at a woman and been totally vulnerable. Known someone that could level you with her eyes, feeling like God put an angel on earth just for you. Who could rescue you from the depths of hell. And you wouldn’t know what it’s like to be her angel, to have that love for her, be there forever, through anything…”–Sean Maguire (Robin Williams), Good Will Hunting (1997)
February 8th, 2012 at 12:20 pm
I find this the most romantic line……” Love does not end when we don’t see each other.” – The End of the Affair
February 8th, 2012 at 12:20 pm
My all time fav. romantic dialogue/lines are from the famous novel P.S I Love You…these lines are spoken by the husband to his wife :-
“You made me a man by loving me , Holly, and for that i am eternaly greatful… literally. If you can promise me anything, promise me that when ever you are sad or unsure, or you lose complete faith..then you’ll try and see yourself through my eyes.” – Gerry
February 8th, 2012 at 12:20 pm
The most romantic things ring true and don’t sound like movie dialogues at all. So my pick is Jack Nicholson telling Helen Hunt in As Good As It Gets that he has started seeing a shrink. And Helen Hunt says: I don’t quite get how that’s a compliment for me.
And then he says: You make me want to be a better man.
I mean, isn’t that the eternal appeal of love right there in one line?
February 8th, 2012 at 12:22 pm
This is a quote from The Holiday, a romantic movie I watched just after I got my heart broken for the first time. The lines by Kate Winslet (Iris) are so moving, optimistic and speak of so much truth of what a girl goes through.
It is definitely long, but I cherish it. :)
“I understand feeling as small and as insignificant as humanly possible. And how it can actually ache in places you didn’t know you had inside you. And it doesn’t matter how many new haircuts you get, or gyms you join, or how many glasses of chardonnay you drink with your girlfriends… you still go to bed every night going over every detail and wonder what you did wrong or how you could have misunderstood. And how in the hell for that brief moment you could think that you were that happy. And sometimes you can even convince yourself that he’ll see the light and show up at your door. And after all that, however long all that may be, you’ll go somewhere new. And you’ll meet people who make you feel worthwhile again. And little pieces of your soul will finally come back. And all that fuzzy stuff, those years of your life that you wasted, that will eventually begin to fade.”
Lots of love!

For me , the most “romantic” dialogue came in Dil Se. The scene in the desert, when Aman was looking in Meghna’s eyes, this is from the English subtitles ,
I like this distance between us the best. Without this distance, I would have no excuse to get close.”

The sweetest and the most romantic dialogue is the one I heard in a movie called Something Like That . Often we want to say deep things but they end up coming out queerly. Perefctly like real life : “I sometimes have a queer felling with regard to you especially when you are near me as if i had a string somewhere under my left ribs tightly knotted to you. If you leave that string would break and I will bleed internally.”
February 8th, 2012 at 12:55 pm
Heres another one ,.Yes from the MEG RYAN fanclub member (yours truly)…………….MY all time favourite “Sleepless in Seattle”….& the most romantically worded line…..

A little known movie “Ten Things I Hate About You” (1999)has this memorable, heartrending dialogue…………”I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme. I hate it, I hate the way you’re always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it that you’re not around, and the fact that you didn’t call. But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.”"”
cant beat that!

N here’s another of my latest favorites, Blair says to Chuck, in 100th Episode “G.G.” right before walking down the aisle with Louie:
“I Love you. I love you more each day, if that’s even possible.” The moment, the emotions, everything is just phenomenal and your heart cries to stop B keeping her vow to God.
And a few episodes back, Chuck said to Blair, right before they decided to get married, ran away in a limo and had an accident “I don’t care who’s baby it is, and I don’t want you to marry Louie, cuz I will love the baby as much as I love you. Marry me, we belong to each other” Epic!!

And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it’s not because I’m lonely, and it’s not because it’s New Year’s Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”

I love the scorching chemistry between Rhett Butler and Scarlett in Gone with the wind and one of the most memorable romantic dialogues that had a lot of passion in it was the converstaion when Rhett is about to go off to war saying “There’s one thing I do know… and that is that I love you, Scarlett. In spite of you and me and the whole silly world going to pieces around us, I love you. Because we’re alike. Bad lots, both of us. Selfish and shrewd. But able to look things in the eyes as we call them by their right names.”
February 8th, 2012 at 2:01 pm
My all time fav romantic dialogue is not by some author or some character in any movie. It’s something my husband always tells me, “AS LONG AS WE ARE TOGETHER, EVERYTHING WILL FALL IN PLACE.”
This might have been said by someone famous before, but its special coming from my husband and this sentence is my lifeline :)

i love many dialogues from many movies..but when it comes to decide which one is my favourite one!! well it definitely is going to be the three liner “I LOVE YOU” this is what makes me go gaga each time i hear it from my beloved husband…even after 14 years, when i hear it from him..i still go back to the school lobby where he whispered this in my ears and still feel that shiver, that shine in his eyes and that innocence of these MAGICAL words..any romantic dialogue written or ever spoken only indicates one thing that he/she loves you..and when it’s said…it definitely touches the heart cords and you wanna hear it again and again and trust me these three words are eternal and the meaning they hold will never fade away..inspite of many more dialogues coming it’s way !!

My affections and wishes have not changed, but one word from you will silence me forever. If, however, your feelings have changed, I will have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on.

every moment with you is so special,
and everything about you is so magical
never felt so complete before,
coz i know this time its true love for sure
nobody ever made me smile,
with their thoughts like you do
nobody could make me happy,
when I was feeling blue
ever since i met you baby,
everything I do I do it for you……..

Citing a personal dialogue..
This was when my boyfriend told me about how his colleague missed being with his wife when she was in labour. And then in the most unusual yet romantic way popped the question. “I’ll be there by your side when you experience it. Wish I could bear it for you. To get there we need to get hitched. So will you marry me?” And I (with all ths blush & grin in place) just went “Awww! yes.”

Annie Hall all the way. Right there when Woody Allen tells Annie-
“Love is too weak a word for what I feel — I luuurve you, you know, I loave you, I luff you, two F’s, yes I have to invent, of course I do, don’t you think I do?”

If I could, I would write down most all of the dialogues in P and P, the BBC series, but for now I guess I will go with the movie

If the movie is a musical, the song counts too, right?
Phantom of the opera, where the phantom sings to Christine
Say you’ll share with me one love, one lifetime
Lead me, save me from my solitude
Say you want me with you, here beside you
Anywhere you go let me go too -
Christine, that’s all I ask of …
Just about broke my heart, this song. You could feel his loneliness and pain and despair. I would have chose him any day over Raoul.Silly Christine. :-P

Its from 3 idiots whose romantic meaning was introduced to me by my husband an it became the most romantic dialogue for me forever– He told me for whatever things I have done till now from upbringing of kids to managing the social life to our personal life– “jahanpanah tussi great ho, Tohfa kabool karo” & tohfa would be to bring your happiness n smiles for evry lil thing…
originally Romantic dialogues r really lovely but turning a comic one to such a full of love version made me feel really special:)

My favourite romantic scene is from the movie Rab ne bana di jodi
“Main jab bhi aap ko dekhta hoon mujhe rab dikhta hai. Rab ke samne matha tekta hoon toh dil ko sukoon milta hai. Aap ko hanste hoye dekhta hoon toh dil ko aur bhi sukoon milta hai. Toh main toh aap Rab se bhi zyada pyar karta hoon.”

Heya malini,
I love reading novels and one of My favorite romantic dialogue is “Love means never having to say you’re sorry.” from “love story” by Erich Segal.
Talking about movies I am completely in love with the dialogue from the Movie “10 Things I hate about you”.. I just cant stop feeling the pinch in my heart while hearing this one..
“I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.”
And a real life dialogue “We are different, our lives are different and so are our ideals, upbringing and choices but Love is the ruling factor in life.. and if our love is strong enough soon we shall start loving our differences!” -said to me by my hubby dearest during our courtship and i have surely started feeling its come true!! :):)
I LOVE THE WATCH, AND I REALLLLYY REALLLY WANT IT! PLEASE PLEASE!! :) :)

This one from Rab ne Bana Di Jodi is ma favourite
Main jab bhi aap ko dekhtha hoo mujhe rab dikhtha hai. Rab ke saamne matha tektha hoo toh dil ko sukoon miltha hai. Aap ko hansthe huye dekhtha hoo toh dil ko aur bhi sukoon miltha hai. Toh main toh aap Rab se bhi zyada pyar kartha hoo.

Dear Miss M,
surely I don,t have a dialogue to share but these words do the magic for me.

So sure, so selfless, so simple…
Nothing can beat these words to express ones love

My Dearest Allie. I couldn’t sleep last night because I know that it’s over between us. I’m not bitter anymore, because I know that what we had was real. And if in some distant place in the future we see each other in our new lives, I’ll smile at you with joy and remember how we spent the summer beneath the trees, learning from each other and growing in love. The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that’s what you’ve given me. That’s what I hope to give to you forever. I love you. I’ll be seeing you.

Gawd…I am already sobbing and so mushy now…reading all the dialogs from above…..so here’s one from my all time favorite movie, Dirty Dancing, “I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life the way I feel when I’m with you”. Baby says it all
Another one closest to my heart is what my now hubby and then boyfriend told me when we held hands for the first time while crossing s street- “I now know that the spaces between my fingers were created so that yours could fill them in” and I knew he was the one

My all time favorite romantic dialogue is from the movie dil toh pagal hai
The last scene where madhuri says to srk she doesnt love her and akshay plays the tape
ab rahul ke bare mein main kahan se shuru karu,wo kabi masuum hai to kabi shaitan, kabi bachho se b jyada ziddi h to kabi ek pyara sa sathi, jab wo muje dekhta h to aisa lagta h k main sabse khubsurat hun,jab pyar krta h to ankh bhar ati hai,wo muje ehsas dilata h ki main sirf uske liye bani hun aur wo sirf mere liye, main usse bahut pyar krti hun,ek din ke liye nahi,ek pal k liye nahi zindagi bhar k liye.i love you rahul

Out of so many favorite movie lines, I’m choosing the one which continues to make me laugh. It comes from Richard Kelly’s ‘Donnie Darko‘. The reason for this is mostly due to the delivery by Beth Grant. It’s simply terrific!
Principal: “So, let’s go over this again. What exactly did you say to Ms. Farmer?”
Kitty Farmer: “I’ll tell you what he said! He asked me to forcibly insert the lifeline exercise card into my anus!”

Bollywood movies come up with some really ‘heavy-weight’ dialogues. Be it of ‘Sholay’ or ‘Deewar’. I remember a very famous dialogue of ‘Deewar’ – ‘mein aj bhi feke huye paise nahin utatha hoon’. The Hindi movies have also got some very funny dialohues as well, though I cannot recollect any. Whatever, my fav dialogue from Hindi movie would be from Rang De Basanti. Though I will not be able to quote the exact dialogue, it starts somewhat like this “Koi bhi desh perfect nahin hota…”
This is indeed a very inspiring dialogue and every time I hear it, I get Goosebumps…

I LOVE this contest question!
So Like every couple..we fight at times too! And she’s a tough nut to crack! ;)

Just wanna say this…
They want to see,
That bling side for them to begin.
With a start for them that has no end.
And hoping their lives,
Will sparkle bright.
With a sheen seen…
From outer space at night.
They hope that bling side to blister and glow.
From angles that exposes,
Their studded gold teeth glimmering…
In a bold gold that shows.
That want that bling side to begin…
With goose bumps too,
That never end.
With expensive sneakers costng fortunes.
To brag likes fools…
Like selfish spoiled children do!
To then dress as fools.
Act rude with a crudeness.
With a flaunting of lewd attitudes.
That want that bling side to begin…
With goose bumps too.
To then dress as fools.
Act rude with a crudeness.
With a flaunting of lewd attitudes.
And killing any sense that may be left within them.
They want to see,
That bling side for them to begin.
With a start for them that has no end.
And hoping their lives,
Will sparkle bright.
With a sheen seen…
From outer space at night.
They want that bling side to begin…
With goose bumps too.
To then dress as fools.
Act rude with a crudeness.
With a flaunting of lewd attitudes.
And killing any sense that may be left within them.
To live,
Or not to have…
A future.
One that has firm roots.
And not be foolish losers.
To live,
Or not to have…
A future.
One that has firm roots.
And not be foolish losers.
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
To be just foolish losers.
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
They want that bling,
To live!
To be just foolish losers.
The bling side,
To live!
The bling side,
To live!
The bling side,
To live!
To be just foolish losers….

Hi, missmalini.. there seems to be another khyati who has put in some entries above.. so have written my facebook name here so that there is no confusion. My favourite love moment is from the epic love story of Jack and Rose from Titanic… It is the scene where Rose opens the handcuffs of Jack and they rush up and Jack asks Rose to get into the boat. Rose refuses, but then Carl arrives and Jack and Carl both urge Rose to get into the boat… She is finally shoved into the boat, but her eyes never leave Jack… and as the boat lowers down, she jumps off into the ship again… and runs to be with Jack again… They passionately embrace at the bottom of the stairs and Jack calls her an idiot…Jack says ,” Rose, Rose, you’re so stupid, you’re such an idiot– to which Rose simply replies ” You jump, I jump, right ?” to which he says ” Right”.
I identify with the passion and the intensity of love depicted in this simple dialogue.. and it always brings tears to my eyes.

Bollywood has so many fabulously romantic dialogues ..
Here are my favourites
Hum Dil de chuke sanam: salman Khans heart rending dialogue still brings a lump in my throat!”Agle saat janmo tak tum vanraj ki ho,lekin 8 ve janam me tum meri hogi and that time no vanraj vanraj plz,aur nandu tum mujhe is tarah mat dekho kyunki tumhe mujhse phir se pyaar ho jaega..”
Devdas : SRK best when he is all drunk & romantic!..”gawaar… kitney aasani se ginwa diya ki tumhe har pal meri yaad aati thi, magar yeh kabhi nahi socha ki un palo mein beet ta toh main hi tha, diya tum jalati thi lekin us mein jalta toh mein hi tha ..
Dhadkan : besotted by ladylove ,shilpa shetty, makes SUMIL SHETTY declare:”
main tumhain bhool jaoon yeh ho nahin sakta or tum mujhay bhool jao yeh main honay nahin doon ga.”

We need a witness to our lives. There’s a billion people on the planet….. I mean, what does any one life mean? But in a marriage, you’re promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things….. all of it, all the time, every day. You’re saying ‘Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go unwitnessed because I will be your witness.

Im like the SRK from Dil Toh Paagal Hai… dont have a love story of my own, but love to write little stories inspired from the people around me.
My fav dialogue if from this short story called ‘ Life, Love & a dollop of faith ‘http://pooja-r.blogspot.in/2010/03/she-woke-up-with-start-heard-confused.html
The line happens after the two characters have had their first fight & the boy who is the 1st to make up, writes this note which goes “I miss u my darling… our fights, our laughs, our talks, our dates, .. i miss u coz without ‘U’ there is no ‘US’.. & i miss “US”!”

My Favourite Dialogue Is From The Movie Mohabbatein -
Here It Goes
” Mohabbat bhi zindagi ki tarah hoti hai, har mod aasan nahi hota, har mod par khushi nahi milti…. Par jab hum zindagi ka saath nahi chodte to mohabbat ka saath kyon chhode.”
The Dialogue Is So True…So Meaningful

This line is from the movie Emma, an adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel by the same name. I actually read the book after watching the movie and fell in love again. Here goes,
“Maybe it is our imperfections which make us so perfect for one another.”
This simple yet striking line really made me rethink on love altogether, in a good way though. :)

May you never steal, lie, or cheat, but if you must steal, then steal away my sorrows, and if you must lie, lie with me all the nights of my life, and if you must cheat, then please cheat death because I couldn’t live a day without you – from The Leap Year.

My fav quote was “Don’t forget. I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her…” but you already mentioned that ! :( My bad luck , I cant win.
The next one is
You are my life now … from Twilight

My favourite dialouge is from the movie “Two weeks notice” when at the end Hugh Grant tries to win Sandra Bullock. The exact lines are “This person despite being unusually stubborn and unwillingly to compromise and a very poor dresser.she is rather like the building she loves so much,a little rough round the edges but when you look closely, absolutely beautiful and the anyone of her kind and event though I have said cruel things and drove her away, shes become the voice in my head and I cant seem to drown her out and I dont want to drown her out and I am going to keep the community center because I gave my word to her”.These lines make me believe in true love.I love the way when he compares her with the building which she loves and fights for from the beginning of the movie. It got tears to my eyes everytime I watch the movie at this proposal. He is absolutely brilliant.<3..!!

my fab. romantic quote. from a song ‘ HERO ‘ BY Enrique Iglesias :
“Would you dance
If I asked you to dance?
Would you run
And never look back?
Would you cry
If you saw me crying?
And would you save my soul, tonight?
Would you tremble
If I touched your lips?
Would you laugh?
Oh please tell me this.
Now would you die
For the one you loved?
Hold me in your arms, tonight.
I can be your hero, baby.
I can kiss away the pain.
I would stand by you forever.
You can take my breath away”

a)”I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone. I choose a mortal life” (Arwen Evenstar-Lord of the Rings)
b) “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return” (Christian-Moulin Rouge)
Cheers to love ya’all! Happy Valentines Day! :)

My favourite are three words that I tell my better half:
“YOU COMPLETE ME”
These melts her down in my arms and bring the twinkle in her eyes that tell me – she and I will take each breath together till eternity, whatever may happen.
February 11th, 2012 at 1:37 am
The most touching line for me are “Tell me how am I supposed to live without You.. Tell me how am I suppose to carry on”
Dilber Mare kab tuk Mujhe asie he thdpao ge, main aag dil main laga dunga who, ke pal main phigal jayoge.
February 11th, 2012 at 10:25 am
it has to come from a book- :)
What can you say about a twenty-five year old girl who died? That she was beautiful and brilliant. That she loved Mozart and Bach. The Beatles. And me.

Will you do something for me, please? Just picture your life for me? 30 years from now, 40 years from now? What’s it look like? If it’s with him, go. Go! I lost you once, I think I can do it again. I was about to quote the same line from Notting Hill. :(
I don’t know if this fits, but it’s my favourite LOVE quote :D
Olive from Easy A:
I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me. Just once I want my life to be like an 80′s movie, preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason. But no, no, John Hughes did not direct my life.

It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together … and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. It was like coming home. .. only to no home I’d ever known … I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew. It was like … magic.
Said by Sam (Tom Hanks) in the movie “SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE”
February 11th, 2012 at 7:28 pm

“It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were suppose to be together… and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. Itni shidaat se main tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai,
hi har zaare ne mujhe tumse milane ki saazish ki hai.
Kehte hain ki …… Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaaho to puri kayanat usey tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.
Aaj aap sabh ne mujhe meri chaahat se milaeya, thank you, thank you very much. Main aap sab ka shukar guzaar hoon.
Ki aapne mere kwabon ko yakeen mein badal diya, itna ki I feel like the King of thee World.
Aur aaj, is baat ka bhi yakeen ho gaya, ki humari filmon ki tarah humari zindagi mein bhi end mein sab theek ho jaata hai.
Happys Endings. Aur agar, aur agar theek na ho to woh the end nahin hai dosto, picture abhi baaki hai.

The start of any relationship is the easiest to spout romantic dialogues that’s why I love after 6 years of turbulence in the finale of the SATC episodes when Big tells Carrie “It took me a really long time to get here, but I’m here. Carrie, you’re the one.”

My all time most favourite romantic dialogue has to be
“Do you ever put your arms out and just spin and spin and spin? Well, that’s what love is like. Everything inside of you tells you to stop before you fall, but you just keep going.” from the movie ‘Practical Magic’. I just love how beautifully this one describes the overwhelming yet addictive feeling of love.

This isnt really a dialogue, but this scene and their love is pretty romantic in a not so conventional way and thats what makes it my favorite
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWlxk1Xnap4
Chandler: I can’t believe I ruined this.
Joey: I am so sorry man.(Chandler walks dejectedly into his apartment to find it lit with about a thousand candles and Monica standing in the living room.)
Monica: You wanted it to be a surprise.(He turns to look at Joey who smiles slyly and closes the door leaving them alone.)
Chandler: Oh my God.(Monica gets down on one knee.)
Monica: Chandler, In all my life I never thought I would be so lucky. (Starting to cry.) As to fall in love with my best, my best, There’s a reason why girls don’t do this!
Chandler: Okay! (He joins her on one knee) Okay! Okay! I’ll do it! Oh God, I thought (Starting to cry, pauses) Wait a minute, I-I can do this. (Pause) I thought that it mattered what I said or where I said it. Then I realized the only thing that matters is that you, (Pause) you make me happier than I ever thought I could be. (Starting to cry again.) And if you’ll let me, I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you feel the same way. (Pause as he gets out the ring.) Monica, will you marry me?
Monica: Yes.(He puts the ring on her finger. They hug and kiss this time as an engaged couple.)
Monica: I knew you were likely to take a wife!(They hug again.)

I always love that line from Notting Hill, not the mushy cliched quotes you hear everyday but yet so moving,it takes you when you are least expecting it.
Apart from it,here are a few others that I loved and found very genuine-
1)”It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were suppose to be together… and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. It was like coming home… only to no home I’d ever known… I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew. It was like… magic”- Sam(Tom Hanks) in Sleepless in Seattle
2) This was one line which defined love perfectly-
“Love means never having to say you’re sorry”- Oliver Barrett IV in Love Story.

Love for me is accepting each other for everything you’re, the good and the bad and this line defines it all :)

When I read HH Auden back in college, I thought the poem was touching, but boy, was it rendered in the most heartbreaking way by John Hannah in Four Weddings and a Funeral. I thought it mourned lost love in the most splendid way. I cried buckets by the time it was done and they walked away with the coffin.
John’s character Mathew says at the funeral,
“Garreth used to prefer funerals to weddings. He said it was easier to get enthusiastic about a ceremony one had an outside chance of eventually being involved in. In order to prepare this speech, I rang a few people, to get a general picture of how Garreth was regarded by those who met him. Fat seems to be a word people most connected with him. Terribly rude also rang a lot of bells. So very fat and very rude seems to have been a stranger’s viewpoint. On the other hand, some of you have been kind enough to ring me to tell me that you loved him, which I know he’d be thrilled to hear. You remember his fabulous hospitality…his strange experimental cooking. The recipe for ‘Duck a la Banana’ fortunately goes with him to his grave. Most of all, you tell me of his enormous capacity for joy. When joyful, when joyful for highly vocal drunkenness. But joyful is how I hope you’ll remember him. Not stuck in a box in a church. Pick your favorite of his waistcoats and remember him that way. The most splendid, replete, big-hearted, weak-hearted as it turned out, and jolly bugger most of us ever met. As for me, you may ask how I’ll remember him, what I thought of him. Unfortunately there I don’t have words. Perhaps you will forgive me if I turn from my own feelings to the words of another splendid bugger: W.H. Auden. This is actually what I wanted to say:
‘Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone.
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum,
Bring out the coffin…let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle, moaning overhead,
Scribbling on the sky the message: He is Dead.
Put crepe bows ’round the necks of public doves,
Let traffic policemen wear black, cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East, my West.
My working week and my Sunday rest.
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song,
I thought love would last forever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now, put out every one.
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun.
Pour out the ocean and sweep up the wood,
For nothing now can ever come to any good.”
Though it was said at Gareth’s funeral, it has to be the most romantic one I ever heard.

I have never known anyone who actually believed that I was enough until I met you, and then you made me believe too.. So unfortunately, I need you and you need me.
Maggie (Anne): I don’t need you…
Jamie: Yes you do… someone to take care of you. Everybody does.
Maggie: I’m going to need you more than you need me.
Jamie: …That’s okay.
Maggie: No, it’s not!! It isn’t fair. I have places to go.
Jamie: You’ll go there. I just may have to carry you.
Maggie: I can’t let you do that…
Love it and this is what true love is sticking by your loved one in times of sickness and pain,

Terrified again of Loving, Of Loving but not You, Of being loved but not by You. If You do not love me, I shall not be loved, If I do not love you, I shall not LOVE!
Thanks! :-)

So I’m a huge Grey’s Anatomy fan, and this is my all-time favourite thing Meredith said to Derek (about his ex-wife Addison):
“Okay, here it is: your choice. It’s simple — her or me — and I’m sure she’s really great. But Derek, I love you, in a really, really big pretend-to-like-your-taste-in-music, let-you-eat-the-last-piece-of-cheesecake, hold-a-radio-over-my-head-outside-your-window, unfortunate way that makes me hate you… love you. So pick me, choose me, love me.”

The most romantic dialogue I ever heard was from the movie- Phenomenon :
George- Hey! Would you, uh love me for the rest of my life?
Lace- No..I am gonna love you for the rest of mine !!

TITANIC — Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) to Rose (Kate Winslet)
“Winning that ticket, Rose, was the best thing that ever happened to me… it brought me to you … You must do me this honor, Rose. Promise me you’ll survive. That you won’t give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise.”

Miss Malini..
Honestly, my all time favorite romantic dialog is not from any movie, it is from my hubby :) and I have never shared this with anybody else till today, but today I am happy to share with you…
It was Valentine Day of 2009 and on the same day I got married..
Before 1 hour I got married; he called me and said:
“Have you noticed? even almighty God want us to see as a couple together, and I am feeling so blessed that my valentine will be mine forever on the Valentine day itself. I am glad and feeling lucky to have you as my life partner”
I was touched :) Tomorrow on 14th Fab 2012, I am completing 3 years of beautiful journey with him and these words will be precious for me forever…

Thank you for being the woman that you are. I love, appreciate, trust, honor, praise, and worship you with all of my being. I commit, submit and devote all of myself to you and you only forever. It is such a privilege that you have bestowed on me to be your husband. I truly understand the meaning of marriage and all of the joys and responsibilities involved. Always know that there is not any hurdle that we can’t jump over together. The love that we share is priceless. Words can’t even begin to touch the surface of our union.
You’re my wife, my lover and my friend and my strength… Kisses My Love.
(sharing d note in d card i jus found under my pillow :)
