MissMalini Contest: 5 Couple Passes to Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2012, Up For Grabs!
Q: Glamazon, Minimalist, Ladylike or Bohemian. Which style best describes you (or your girl) and why? Post your answers in the comments below.
It’s summer/resort time and that means Lakmé Fashion Week is around the corner. I’ve already started to put together just what I want to wear – I’m thinking of going Ladylike this time, with wrap dresses, a-line skirts and classic pumps. Tell us what style best describes you, and we’ll send you and a friend to Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2012.
In addition, Lakmé Salon is also giving away passes to the shows, and the first 200 people to get their special, pre-specified services will get invites to Lakmé Fashion Week. All you have to do is head on over to your nearest Lakmé Salon for more details on how to win these passes.
As for us, we’re giving away 5 couple passes for early evening shows. So if you’re a closet glamazon or bohemian beauty, apply for the contest! Sorry to our out-of-Mumbai readers, but this one is only open to our aamchi Mumbai readers.
If you want to know what the show line-up is, check the schedule below.

Most of my wardrobe is black, supplemented with navy, grey, cream, white and some brown; all solid colours, except for a few striped sweaters. I prefer simple classics and “classics with a twist” in high quality. I like to build my wardrobe on basics that will last for years. My philosophy is to focus on true classics and more unusual pieces that won’t easily be dated, because they were never trendy to begin with.

Definitely “ladylike”. I LOVE clothes and try to stay updated with trends but my favourites are dresses. I have very similar dresses (and many of them)that Victoria Beckham is wearing in the pic; it’s sort of my signature style. I feel that this style makes me look cute, rather than bold (which I prefer more), and younger. You can style it with some jewellery (as I’m not a big jewellery person but I like some here and there). It’s all about how the outfit is put together.

The fierce yet colorful look is my style.Fierce because I have a good height (5.11″) and colorful because monochrome is mundane!! I like to play the fierce look by adding electric colors to my wardrobe along with some bling bling. I also love just going minimal when it comes to jewels but doesn’t keep me away from adding a statement jewel piece to each and every wardrobe of mine.
So, That is my….Fierce and Colorful
P.s. I have so much wanted to go and check out a fashion show life.I am such a believer and follower of fashion and would love to soak up more inspirations. So please give me a chance ^_^

I’d say Lady-like. Think Audrey Hepburn meets Blair Waldorf. I build on classics and wear dresses and skirts, love lace gloves, elaborate hairdo-s, the works… But my guy would say boring and introduce his own elements from time to time. So, I have a distinct style, finding it’s anchor in secrets from the ages :) And of course, I build up on what I see…

me and my friend follow a complete Bohemian style…coz the reason being obvious we love the “boho-chic” accessories with a touch of modern artistic dresses!

Hola! Great contest question. That really made me put my thinking cap on and I came to a conclusion that I am a little bit of everything! ;) I love being Versatile and perhaps that is a reason I think I can easily get in the shoes of Glamazon, Minimalist, Ladylike or Bohemian.
I strongly believe in being versatile! For some occasions like Lakme fashion week, best friends spinster party etc I love being a Glamazon! I am more into the lady like mode with my boyfrnd ;) hehe! Bohemian mostly at work. I am a photographer and bohemian look defines my passion! Minimalist ..umm..thats when I wanna look stunning, effortlessly! ;)
Fashion, for me is experimenting without any mental blockage! To be a fashionista, you really need to be bold, broad minded and welcoming to the new trends! Just like the other day me and my frnd were discusing or rather debating about the newest two trends “Neon” color trend and the “Mint green” color trend. I am totally psyched to try these trends on me and I already have ordered a neon pink lipstick and mint green dress from asos.com for the starters! How ever my frnd was realy stubborn to adapt the look. She said its gonna be too much or rather too colorful for Mumbai. How ever, for a color crazy person like me, black ..white..nudes. and neon..you will find all of them in my wardrobe! :) Thats me! ;)

Don’t have too much to describe but a short orange dress, gold chain and nude pumps would suffice. Sober make-up and the ooh lala smile.. all set to go.. xoxo

We(me and my girl)are minimalist. Considering the Bombay spirit, doing things that would suffice the basic needs, helps style ourselves to our true selves and needs.!!!

Just one style??? dat is SUCH a bore!!! True each person has a preferred style but it’s so much more fun to surprise ppl all the time – not be predictable!!! I love all of them – n i believe I carry them off pretty decently too :)

the best style that describes any body is that he should feel good and comfortable whatever he/she wears.s there is a saying-”all that lies ahead and before you is nothing compared to what lies within you”.You should be confident of what ever you wear. The best style which describes me is bohemian
